The countdown has begun! Waiting on the out-of-state company to mail the City of Walker occupational license so that Entergy will change over utilities. Finished all the paperwork that the state, parish, city requires to have a business - now we wait until we receive everything by mail!

We are excited about retirement and Missy is thrilled to be returning to Walker! We are confident in her beautiful design ability to provide any flowers our customers and friends need!

The last Valentine's Day under our guard has come and gone.... A changing of the guard is in the near future! Change and yet no change! A new owner to provide wonderful customer service and beautiful flowers will be taking the shop into the future. Same location, same telephone number, same online presence - new energy and smile will be adding weddings and parties to the flower menu!

Retirement is bitter-sweet. We will miss the customers, friends and family that we have come to know and love... But, we aren't leaving the area; so, I'm sure we'll run into one another!

Letting everyone know that the shop is still open for business! We have a spoken purchase agreement on it and are keeping it open until the new owner can finish paperwork. We are so thrilled with the new owner and completely trust her with our friends and customers. Once the paperwork is complete we will officially retire and introduce her! She is a long time florist friend that we love dearly. I'm sure we will be in and out visiting and see you around town!

Need a last minute gift? We have some fantastic devotionals for Ladies and Gents to start the new year with! They have scripture and stories along with areas for personal thoughts! Even better, we were able to buy at a price that allows us to offer them at half price. We will open Monday, December 23 - 9 to 4, Christmas Eve - open 9 to 12 (noon). Closed Christmas Day. Open Thursday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Dec. 27 - regular store hours of 9 to 4. Closed Saturday, December 28 - will be out of state for Christmas with kids and grandkids!
