Got a text this past Sunday night while sitting in Charlotte Airport...could I do an installation for the ribbon cutting of a new exhibit at the'Museum of Frederick County History. 24 East Church Street? 'Sure. What's the date?' I text....February 28! So, long story short...when I got back in the shop on the 27th, I looked around and spied the display arbor in our wedding consultation area. ...the top of it ( with a flip and some fluffing on site) is now the mantle decor for "Stitches Through Time - Womens Work from Farm to Fashion". On display are 10 Wedding dresses, spanning 100 years... the oldest one is 200 years old. Florists are masters at thinking on their feet!

This is the first in person conference I have gotten to attend since 2019. Great to be with my floramily again! AIFD Southern Chapter does my creative heart and soul good.

The awesome A Team had a birthday breakfast for my 60th this morning. Diane made the pretty framed piece, the girls got me tea and chocolate, the Team got me GCs for the Tavern and Weinberg Center. Cupcakes included! Thanks y'all!

We call this specialized spray a casket scarf. It is created in a narrow, cascading style for placement on top of the blanket that is folded over the edge at the center of a half couch type casket. This style allows the beautiful wood to be seen on the foot end. It's perfect for the custom made, artfully crafted caskets we are noticing at services these days.

79th birthday wishes! He sends a rose per year for his wife's birthday. He told me he has been doing this since they met when she was 16....and she counts them to make sure he got it right! (He also told me he would have to sell a cow to pay for these since she was gettingup there! She! Don'ttell her he said that ;)) Long live love!
