I often joke that I always have a “favorite”
Bride each year… maybe not a joke, you know who you are! Haha

From the moment I met Tyler, we had an instant connection. We were both the daughter’s of police officers, the same priest that married me (the first time) and baptized all 4 of my children, was marrying her, not to mention she was a doppelgänger of my son’s girlfriend, who we absolutely adore, in not just looks, but bubbly personality as well!

Tyler’s Dad had passed just a few months before our first meeting. He had been a first responder on 9/11 and had passed due to complications of that day. A true hero. During that first meeting, she was crying, I was crying and since that date, she was a part of my heart.

Fast forward to today…Tyler’s wedding day. There’s just so much about Tyler. She exudes warmth and happiness. I’m often dubbed “the ice queen” and known for showing no emotion. Well, let me just tell you, I’ve been crying the last 2 days. Yesterday WITH Tyler and today SEEING Tyler. Wow. She is an absolute Princess today, in one of the most gorgeous dresses and veils I’ve ever seen and I just can’t wait to see the pictures of her special day!

So congrats to the new Mr. And Mrs. I’m so honored to have become your friend!

Today’s wedding was one of those weddings where I would’ve loved to have been a guest…inflatable “dancing” men, whoopie cushions, clown noses, 3D glasses and so much more!
