It was a bright, crisp Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, but in an instant our lives changed forever. At 8:46a the first plane hits the North Tower, followed by another plane in the South Tower at 9:03a. As the morning went on, the Pentagon was hit by another plane at 9:37a, with lastly one more plane went down at 9:46a in Shanksville, PA. We all know what happens next.

2,296 died that day as a result of the attack on 9/11/01. 2,296 people died tragically THAT day, yet people are STILL dying TODAY from the effects of that day.

We will NEVER forget. The fear, the sadness, the disbelief, the unknowing and so much more. We will NEVER forget the grief and panic. We will NEVER forget the lives lost, the ones helping to rescue, the ones that gave them their all. We will NEVER forget.

I gave birth to my first set of twins the following September 2002. I remember watching the 9/11 service on tv where I was hospitalized. I am so glad that my children don’t have to know that horror or have lived through such disaster. And I pray they can live in a world that will prevent them from having to. 🇺🇸
