Hello! My name is Kris Dixson and I live in Walnut Cove, NC. I have recently retired and have decided to start a new chapter in my life sharing and creating my passion for cooking. I’ve been working on this venture little by little and would like to invite all of you to “like my page” and share with your friends.
My experience stems from working in the restaurant industry for many years in my earlier years and cooking for my large family, and grandchildren and hosting many parties. I love sharing good food!
My mission is to provide fresh, affordable, flavorable and delicious food in an easy to access dinner option that is much better and satisfying then fast food when busy weeks are stressful and limited on time. I’ve been that parent who had to work, coordinate after school sports and the many other things as parents we have to make work. Sometimes, there is little time or patience to plan or prepare a meal that is hot, delicious and easy to serve up.
I have a wide variety of menu options that I can’t wait to share with you!
To begin, I will offer three or four menu options every week and post on this page what they are. You can review the menu, order in advance and place your order. That is all the time you need to spend on deciding “what’s for dinner?” Ordering will be made easy and can be picked up at my home or if necessary, delivery options can be made available.
I can also be available for catering dishes if anyone is interested.
With the holidays just a round the corner, my first posting will be the week of the new year, January 2. In the meantime, I wish you all a very wonderful and joyous holiday season and a very Happy New Year!
