If you have a tween or teen- these lip gloss chains are all the rage!

A trip to TJMaxx, Sephora, and Hobby Lobby were the first step.

Then use a thumb tack to punch a small hole in the end (make sure to avoid the tube where the lipgloss is).

Using needle nose pliers add a ring or keychain clip. Add beads, charms, multiple chains or a big loop. The options are endless! We are trying this again later this week! I’ll update you on how they turn out!

A Half Way to 80- 40th birthday was so much fun! Need an easy way to laugh- dress up like little old ladies.

The best part is when you take off your costumes at the end of the night you feel so much younger and somehow all of your real wrinkles and grey hairs seem like less of a big deal!

A Golden birthday… when did this become a thing? 9 on the 9th! We celebrate with bright colors and a whole lot of gold!

Pool parties are always so fun, add some crafts and you’re golden (this time literally).

We decorated instamax frames with gems, did some diamonds art and swam the day away!

Summer Journals are always fun to make! Didn’t do it this summer? Decorate some for Fall- or even use these fun Amazon stickers to decorate a folder, planner, or notebook for school!

What are your Easter traditions? We always have an egg hunt but this year late travel plans and rain caused the Easter bunny to change things up. After some confusion the kids decided they loved having Mom & Dad hide the eggs instead. What made it extra exciting is the Easter Bunny left a trail of sparky foot prints.

Need something to do today with your littles? Make flower pretzels! 🌼

You’ll need:
Butter snap pretzels (square pretzels)
White chocolate melts (we love the size of the Ghirardelli’s ones)
M&Ms (we used spring colors but you could do this for any holiday)

1. Lay the pretzels on a baking sheet
2. Top with a white chocolate melt
3. Bake for a few minutes in a low oven
4. Once chocolate is melted press m&ms in a flower pattern
5. Pop in the fridge to harden
6. Enjoy 🌸

Your kids will love this treat! And we think you’ll love how easy it is to make!

Social media has its pros and cons but we are loving all the cool people we have connected with (yup, that’s YOU!) We started because we loved being sahm, but we were really wanting a creative outlet too. What we didn’t realize is how many amazing people we would meet!

We often get asked how you can help support us, and well, being here is doing just that! Sharing our content with friends, liking our posts, and commenting gives us that extra boost and inspiration to keep creating and sharing!

Need an easy memorable breakfast food that you’ll have everything on hand? Rainbow Cream Cheese Toast!

Can you believe it’s not icing? It’s cream cheese! Here’s how you do it:

Separate cream cheese into 4-5 bowls (depending on how many colors you want to make).

Add food coloring into the small bowl of cream cheese and stir.

Toast your bread.

Spread the cream cheese in a thin stripe. And repeat!

Enjoy!!! Add a few sprinkles if you’re feeling fun! 😝

How the heck can you mess up playdough?! Anyone else? Yup, it’s happened a time or two…but not this time! ✨🌈

Thanks this recipe came out PERFECTLY!

Sooo, if we can do it- you can too!

Here’s the recipe:
2 cups of flour
3/4 cup of salt
4 tsp of cream of tartar
2 cups of water
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
food coloring optional
glitter optional

1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and stir on low heat
2. Keep stirring
3. You’ll know it’s ready when the spatula doesn’t have any dough stuck to it
4. Remove from pan and separate into balls to add food coloring
5. Use gloves to mix in colors
6. Add glitter and play!!!

Store in ziplock baggies to keep it fresh for a play date, party or just to keep the kiddos busy!

Grab a box of glazed donuts and a box of lucky charms and you have the most memorable St. Patrick’s treat. Tip: have a plate with a few drops of water to rub the donut in to moisten the glaze to help the stick!

St. Patrick’s Day milkshakes for the win! 🌈

Grab all the rainbow candy to adorn a milkshake with. Add some mint ice cream or keep it simple with vanilla and some green food dye.

Let’s take a vote…Do you think Irish soda bread is dry and boring or a delicious treat? Well if you chose dry and blah we have a recipe for you! This recipe makes the yummiest bread. Spread with butter when it’s warm and wow!!

Shh don’t tell the leprechauns we are giving out the recipe! 🌈🍀

Here are the ingredients:
1 tsp Baking soda
4 cups Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Sugar
4 tbsp Butter
1 3/4 cups Buttermilk
1 cup Currants or raisins
1 Egg, large

1. Preheat the oven to 425.
2. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
3. Work in the butter and add the raisins. Use your hands for this.
4. Add the egg and buttermilk:
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Add the beaten egg and buttermilk to the well and mix in with a wooden spoon until the dough is too stiff to stir.
5. Use floured hands to gently gather the dough into a rough ball shape. The dough will be soft and sticky. If it is more like a batter than a dough, add up to 1/2 cup more flour until you have a sticky, shaggy dough.
6. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and shape into into a round loaf.
7. Transfer the dough to a large, lightly greased cast-iron skillet or a baking sheet.
8. Using a serrated knife, score the top of dough about an inch and a half deep in an “X” shape.
9. Bake until golden. 35-45 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
10. Slice and spread on some butter! Enjoy!

Life is seriously too short and too serious to not get the PUPPY! 🐶

Puppy mamas what are your tips on keeping your little fluff ball busy during the day! It’s like having a baby that’s learning to potty train, sleep train, has separation anxiety, and tears up everything in sight.

When hubby turns 4️⃣0️⃣ on Valentine’s ❤️Day and requests blueberry pie 🥧 that’s what he gets! Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients
▢ 4 cups Blueberries, Fresh or Frozen
▢ ¾ cup Granulated sugar
▢ 3-4 tablespoon Cornstarch
▢ 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
▢ Pie crust

Instructions
1. In a nonstick saucepan, add blueberries and cook over medium heat until they soften and release their juices.
2. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together sugar and cornstarch.
3. Add this dry mixture into the saucepan.
4. Continue stirring and cooking until mixture thickens.
5. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and vanilla extract.
6. Pour this pie filling in a jar and let it cool down completely.
7. Adjust the oven rack to the lower third position and preheat to 425°F (218°C). Place baking sheet on the bottom oven rack to catch any blueberry juices.
8. Roll out the chilled pie dough: On a floured work surface, roll out one of the discs of chilled dough
9. Arrange the lattice
10. Lightly brush the top of the pie crust with the egg wash. Sprinkle the top with coarse sugar, if using.
11. Bake the pie at 425°F for 25 minutes; then, keeping the pie in the oven, reduce the oven temperature down to 375°F (190°C). Place a pie crust shield (see Note for homemade shield) on the edges to prevent them from over-browning.
12. Continue baking the pie until the filling’s juices are bubbling everywhere, including in the center, 40–50 more minutes.
13. Enjoy!!

When I saw this wax envelope sealing kit I knew my daughter would love it! She spent several hours tonight writing cards and sealing them with a wax seal!

Dripping the wax over a handwritten card feels very Victorian and so much fun! Would your kids love to do this?
