Here are some more pics from MB + Mike’s winter wedding! It sure was a cold day to brave the elements! ❄️ MaryBeth’s bouquets featured Quicksand roses, Rubicon spray roses, apricot stock, anemone, burgundy ranunculus, carnations, and ruscus. The ceremony and reception featured real trees with lights and everything was so pretty and cozy while the wind blew outside! I was honored to provide wedding florals for all three Mullet sisters (pic #7). They are all the sweetest!

Anyone *actually* ready for Christmas yet? Seems every year I lag further and further behind everyone else in this regard. In some areas I plan way ahead and in others, I simply function better while under pressure. I have a house to get ready for hosting, but honestly, I’d rather think about how flowers will be incorporated into my Christmas table and what style place cards I should go with. I should probably be making grocery lists for Sam’s Club, though. Anyone else? 🤣

As promised, more pics of the Yoders’ wedding day!

Several items pulled double and even triple duty throughout the evening as we flipped the ceremony space to the reception area. The aisle pieces were repurposed as centerpieces, mingling with bud vases on the guest tables. The welcome sign arrangement got moved to the cocktail hour sign. And the grounded “arch” for the ceremony went in front of the bridal table, then to the photo booth as a backdrop. This is a great way to get the best bang for your buck! 🤍

Another family wedding in the books as another cousin married the love of her life. 🤍 Alli and Corey had a beautiful wedding day at in early September. Anyone else who gets excited and over-orders seeds in the winter—but when it comes to starting the seeds, you keep pushing it off? Just me? 😬
Other than that, I’m ready for spring! (And the great thing about peonies is that they faithfully bloom every year without any work on my part!)

This winter wedding had it all: sparkling lights, real evergreen trees, candles, green velvet, pocket boutonnières—even a few snow flurries! I don’t always take a wedding a week before Christmas, but if I do, it’s for a wedding planner friend who knows how to pull all the prettiest details together, especially for her daughter’s wedding! Delila’s flowers included the ever popular Toffee rose, white stock, lisianthus, solomio, anemone, and roses, + eucalyptus pods, and lots of greens—including magnolia, rosemary, ruscus, huckleberry, pine, and cedar! Congratulations, Zach + Lila! I hope your wedding day was the best ever! 🤍

Kim + Josh | 10.08.22

Another family wedding in the books! Kim’s wedding was special to me; she’s a niece by marriage and also my next-door neighbor of 11 years. I’ve literally watched her grow up and now she’s married and such a beautiful person, inside and out! Kim + Josh, you guys are so perfect for each other and your wedding day was perfect, as well! Kim chose white flowers and a clean and simple aesthetic that featured roses, baby’s breath, orchids, and bleached ruscus.
Special shout-out to my friend Brooke who came in clutch and helped me wrangle allllllll the baby’s breath into submission. IYKYK.✌🏻

Another wedding that will always be special for me to have taken part in…my beautiful cousin got married back at The Pond where we have all spent so much time as an extended family! It was a perfect day, maybe a little chilly for September, but we’ll take the clear skies and sunshine they had any day! They said their vows in the little “Garden of Eden” grove surrounded by trees (next post maybe!) and I know that was special to my grandpa who made it his duty to patrol the land with the golf cart (and probably several grandkids) in his glory days. Welcome to the family, Christian…you may have relocated Larissa to a faraway state but we all know how much she adores beautiful Colorado so it’s okay, as long as you let her come visit a lot. ✌🏻Congratulations to the happy couple! 🤍

Is there a better month to get married than June? I don’t think so! Brooke + Kyle exchanged their vows on a beautiful day at and here are some pics so you can see just how amazing it was!!! Brooke’s color palette was shades of rose, blush, peach, and white paired with fluffy pampas grass for a modern boho feel. Congratulations, you two! 🤍

Alana + Dani [part two] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Alana chose all white flowers and is a lover of eucalyptus so of course we ordered in a bunch…and most of it came in with brown, wilted tips, probably due to being a bit too tender to harvest—but that’s where floral snips come in handy to edit, edit, edit. ✌🏻Most people will never know the setbacks florists endure, because we have tricks up our sleeves. 😉 Her bouquet included local peonies, local ranunculus, and my own mock orange (a personal fave—so, so beautiful), roses, lisianthus, and stock. Check out the wood pole on the cake photo. My dad went out in the woods and found/cut all the poles for the string lights…you won’t find service like that at a fancy venue! 😁They looked so cool! And that’s how family comes together to make a wedding happen! 💛

This wedding was special to me because the gorgeous bride is my first cousin and this couple’s story is so beautiful and orchestrated by God. They got married at my family’s pond behind the farm and that makes a wedding even better—the same spot where so many Miller family hot dog roasts, camping, kettle cookouts, and last-minute get-togethers have taken place! Janessa + Steven had such a pretty spring wedding day…the kind you would order if you could. I didn’t actually meet Janessa in person till that morning but she was such a sweet + beautiful bride to work with! Her flowers were blush + mauve + white and included roses, stock, sweet peas, and ranunculus. Everything took place at the always lovely and a few of the animals even made it into the photos. Wedding days don’t always equal sunny skies all day, but what if you get sun + rain + all the happiness in the world in one evening? That was Joann + BJ’s wedding day at her family lodge and here are the pics to show you what a beautiful day they had! Joann’s flowers included roses, spray roses, and carnations + local ranunculus, orlaya, and ninebark foliage in tan, peach, white, and rust, which popped against the olive green of the bridesmaids’ dresses.
Joann, it was an honor to do your flowers and you were a dream to work with! (P.S. thanks for babysitting for me back when my kids were little. 😌) I hope you and BJ are loving the newlywed life + can celebrate many, many gorgeous sunsets together!
