A moment for the Okonowskis! Kristen + Lance had a beautiful October wedding at with warm autumn tones and it turned out beautiful! What a sweet couple to work with—it was an honor to design these florals! Some of the flowers included dahlias, roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and stock and the foliage included eucalyptus, ruscus, and preserved beech. Congratulations to the happy couple! 🍂

Sara + Dallas | 9.27.24

This wedding back in late September had me praying hard against wind and rain for the couple’s sake…turns out they had an amazing day even with challenging weather! 🤍 Sara chose a cascading bouquet with white flowers including dahlias, roses, lisianthus, and stock, with green thistles and white berries for texture. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were made with roses, dahlias, zinnias, dried flowers + foliage, and pampas, setting the tone for the pampas grass included on the ceremony and reception. The last pic shows Sara and her five beautiful sisters. I will always include pics like this, because I am *always* jealous of people with several sisters/built-in BFFs. 🫶🏻 Congratulations, Sara + Dallas! 🤍

This month I have a little more rest time and it’s been great! I have been getting in lots of Octordle games online, going to bed at a respectable time {some} nights, and have been adding and deleting flower plugs from my online Farmer Bailey cart. I am pulling way back on weddings this year but I’m still thinking about flowers and how to get my hands on more of them. Now would be a great year to grow vegetables instead…but where’s the fun in that? Making bouquets = fun. Canning green beans = not fun. If you would be able to buy extra plugs from my flats, which ones would you be most interested in? The poll only allows 4 options, but you can comment others as well.

A lovely September wedding for these two! I first met Iva the day of her wedding, but there were many emails and texts exchanged before that! I did the bridal bouquets and provided buckets of flowers for the reception bud vases which they filled themselves. While I often do all the floral design, I am happy to take on the most technical job(s) and take the stress off your shoulders by ordering the rest for your DIY designs! More pics from Clem + Kari’s wedding! Flowers for their big day included dahlias, lisianthus, Coffee Break roses, Quicksand roses, stock, Majolica spray roses, and Sweet Annie. The guest tables featured bud vases and greens and the ceremony arch had some pampas grass to add a little boho flair. What a beautiful summer wedding!

Breaking up the recent whites and greens and blushes of my feed with some color, featuring Clem + Kari’s August wedding! I believe this wedding holds the record for the number of shamelessly downloaded sneak peek photos—thanks, .keimphoto! There’s something about the photos I get back from my cousins’ weddings at the family pond—I always tear up a little. The location is dear to my heart, but the people even more so. This day held so much joy—a little worry, too, in the beginning, with the weather forecast being rain right over the wedding—but it turned out PERFECT with not a drop of rain in sight. I grew the dahlias and lisianthus and a few other flower varieties for this wedding and I loved being able to do that! Stay tuned, because there WILL be more pics! 🫶🏻

Whether it’s a lush floral arch framing the ceremony, or an elegant centerpiece gracing the table, fresh flowers elevate any event! This centerpiece features Duchesse De Nemours peonies, one of my all-time favorite blooms. 🌿
