Construction of the chapel is moving right along. The foyer is framed in and the roof trusses are being painted - my brilliant husband is having the material for the ceiling stained prior to installation to make the painters jobs easier😀. With the trusses painted before the installation of the ceiling they should only have to do minor touchups.

The last photo shows how massive the gothic windows at the end of the aisle are - Paul is 6’2” and they dwarf him 😂

The exterior of the chapel itself will be the color of the trusses - Charleston white. Once the roof of the chapel is on, there will be a bell tower built on top with a church 🔔 our couples can ring after their ceremony⛪️

👏🎉Framing of the chapel started today! The foyer will be framed first - it will have 12 ft ceilings with 8ft tall double doors❤️
The chapel behind it will have much higher ceilings, with open sides, chandeliers and ceiling fans. The pews are 120 years old and gothic in style -
We purchased them from an old church in Georgia that was being converted to a bed and breakfast and were thrilled to find them to give them new life in our wedding chapel. 🍸👏

🎸Not to mention the LIGHTING they brought in!! Holy cow did they make the night! We had guests from all over the country and EVERYONE there said it was the BEST WEDDING BAND they ever heard!! Thank you Sparkles, Event Decor & Design for recommending The Band Punch - they absolutely made the night feel like being at a concert 🎶 🎸🎷
