Lucky Kentucky BBQ is a local, family owned catering business that strives to provide the very best barbecue available in this area, if not beyond. Every recipe we use is our own and measured to perfection in order to maintain the consistency that is needed to be as delectable each time served. Our barbecue sauce is made by hand in small batches and includes a traditional "Kentucky Red" sauce as w

ell as a mustard based, Carolina style we call "Kentucky Gold". Both are the perfect blend of sweet and spice that blends with the small batch, home made rub and natural flavor of the meat, which is eloquently kissed by smoke. Our original vision was to make sure the sides were just as tasty as the barbecue itself. We believe we have accomplished just that as compliments have peppered our ears about how good the entire spread is. That being said, our mac and cheese is certainly the clear cut favorite amongst men, women and children alike. A close second to the mac is our spoon bread. A moist version of corn bread that won't leave you parched, instead it leaves you wanting more. Throw in options of green beans, baked beans and carrots to round out any meal that is sure to satisfy. Over and above all else is the love we bring to the table. There's love in the preparation of the food, in our hearts while doing it and hopefully in the smiles we share with everyone we are so blessed to serve. Barbecue is soul food and it should never be served with anything less than a smile. There is a certain happiness that is attached to barbecue and its meaning, which is way more than just food. It is a celebration of food, of friends, of family, of life itself and a celebration of the gratefulness we all should share with each other for each other. Barbecue carries a meaning deeper than the flavor it provides and we at Lucky Kentucky BBQ take pride in upholding this wonderful tradition of love through culinary expression.
