January 12th- Paint Anything
I had a lovely weekend with an out of town friend so I didn't paint very big yesterday. I wanted to use some of the one strokes I practiced and try them in this unicorn flutter design tonight. I am a bit tired, so I didn't get too fussy with the details, but this is definitely a good start 💜

I spent some time today going back to basics with one stroke technique through the International Face Painting School community. It was great to reset my frame of mind to break bigger designs into their smaller components. 😊

January 10th- On the Job Style Arctic Animals
While I have painted regular foxes in several different ways, I had never tried an Arctic fox! In full transparency, this took a tiny bit longer than I would normally have on the job. But now that I tried it once, I think that I can definitely simplify it just a little to be able to paint it in 5 minutes or so. 😊 With the cold temperatures we have now, I wish I was as fluffy as this little fox to help stay warm! 😉💙💙💙

January 9th- ITP Dare: Paint something that intimidates you...
I have been painting a very long time, and practicing my creativity with the Inspiration To Paint challenge for quite awhile too. At this point, yes, I definitely have strengths and weaknesses, but I am usually up to trying most things I'm asked for. So, my daughter helped me brainstorm, and suggested something that is intimidating in real life...like an ostrich! (I definitely wouldn't want to face one running towards me at top speed! 😯) I kinda like the way this one turned out, so now I have an idea if I ever get this request in the future! 😉

Did you know popular television game show Wheel of Fortune turned 50 this year!?! The show in its current format first aired on January 6th, 1975 and has been giving viewers word puzzle fun ever since! I know that I loved watching it with my parents when I was growing up 🙂 what about you?

January 8th- Geometric Gardens
It is fascinating to see all the wonderful patterns in nature! From the swirl of a rose unfolding, to the circles inside circles in the rings of a tree, or the ripple of a splash in the pond, nature demonstrates math and geometry in so many ways!
For my design today, I combined a bit of nature in the rose, framed by the geometric shapes inspired by some tattoo styles too!

Three friendly little stars just hanging out in the cosmos, sharing their light and sparkle with all of us here on Earth! 😊 this cute design would be even cuter on another model... my eyesight without glasses isn't quite what it used to be 😉😂💕

January 3rd- On the Job Style Bird
I sat in on part of a zoom paint along through the International Face Painting School today, before I needed to leave for an appointment. I doodled a few Phoenix designs with my one stroke cakes, one simpler, and one a little bit more detailed. Both perfect arm designs for a party. 🎉🥳🎉

January 2nd- 2025 Word of Intention
When a new year starts, rather than making a set of resolutions, like "eat healthier", "exercise more", or "do this, that, or the other thing", I prefer to choose a word of intention. I pick one word to hopefully help guide my choices and actions to help me reach my goals.
For 2025, my word is "Expansion". I'd like to work to take the resources and skills I currently have and work on ways to expand them into something more. Whether it is taking a new look at the opportunities that might be right under my nose, or working to practice things I have already learned to up my level a bit, I intend to find ways to gently expand my services, my contacts, my network and try to let my ideas expand into actions. 💫

January 1st- Back to Basics: 50 teardrops
Happy New Year and welcome to 2025! 🎉🎉🎉 Had a productive day around the house, so it was lovely to sit and practice teardrops and flow with one of my long liner brushes! 💙 such a peaceful way to ease back into practice.

This sweet young lady is an aspiring balloon twister and was helping out her mom from at a Craft and Vendor Fair this past weekend at
It was fun to paint this cute little balloon dog design at her request! She did an awesome job creating her balloon creations, and I'm sure she'll be an amazing twister if it's something she decides to continue! 😊

November 6th - Autumn Leaves 🍂 (color palette; yellow, orange, magenta & purple)
Playing with beautiful colors really soothes the spirit! 💕 used the opportunity to try out a few specialty brushes, which made quick work to create these autumn leaves dancing along on a gentle autumn breeze! 🍁🍂🍃

I spent a beautiful day off with my husband enjoying the fresh air, getting some chores done and even cooking up some yummy apple butter! The whole house smelled delicious! 💕 I'm a bit late posting, because the time change has me all discombobulated, but I painted a cute little apple tonight to commemorate the day. ❤️🍎❤️
