November 3rd- Paint Anything
I spent a beautiful day off with my husband enjoying the fresh air, getting some chores done and even cooking up some yummy apple butter! The whole house smelled delicious! 💕 I'm a bit late posting, because the time change has me all discombobulated, but I painted a cute little apple tonight to commemorate the day. ❤️🍎❤️

Had an amazing weekend out at the Harvest Festival and BBQ! Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a face paint design or airbrush tattoo! You all made the weekend extra awesome and I loved the chance to make you smile! 😁

August 10th- Paint Anything
Had a beautiful but busy day at the Kielbasa Festival and was absolutely thrilled to have the chance to paint a custom sugar skull on this beautiful young lady! She let me match the flowers to her outfit, so we went with pinks and 3 different colors of roses 🌹 Absolutely LOVE the way it turned out.
(I edited the background to replace the distracting Festival views)

Was walking in the woods and found this cute little baby Bigfoot resting in the grass, wiggling his little...er...big toes! 😉😂❤️

August 5th- Deadpool vs. Wolverine
I haven't yet had a chance to see the new movie, but everyone I know who did gave it rave reviews. Definitely looks like a fun time! So, who is YOUR favorite.....Deadpool or Wolverine??

Today is International Clouded Leopard Day, dedicated to raising awareness about this beautiful wild cat from southeast Asis that is currently on the vulnerable list. It has a declining population primarily due to habitat destruction and poaching.

August 2nd- Starts with C
C is for Cougar...the cat variety! This fierce feline is also known as a mountain lion, puma, panther, catamount, or wildcat among other names. It's the largest member of the "small cat" family and has a range from Northern British Columbia in the north down to Argentina in the South.
I was feeling a bit "off" today, but when I sat down to paint, it all came together nicely. ❤️

August 1st- Inspired by your favorite crayon
Growing up my favorite color was probably pink, or purple, depending on my age. But my favorite CRAYON....was (and still is) Periwinkle! Not quite purple, not quite blue, but so pretty!
So tonight I paint some vinca with their pretty little periwinkle flowers popping up along the vine. I am lucky to have some of these growing as a ground cover in part of my yard. I love to see them bloom 😊

July 31st- Peace and Love
I feel most peaceful when I get the chance to surround myself with the wonders of nature. Whether it's watching the birds splashing in the backyard waterfall, seeing the herons and deer near the lake shore in my kayak, discovering a new bloom in my garden, or just watching the eagles, hawks or crows flying overhead from my porch. I am so lucky to be living right in the middle of a beautiful haven of peace and love. 💕

July 26th- On the Job Style Olympics
This one is a little wonky, my arm cramped up trying to hold it at an angle to reach for some of the parts 😂 This could be a fun design to paint on someone else though, to celebrate the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris! ❤️

July 25th- National Carousel Day
Growing up in Connecticut, my parents would often take me fun places around the state, especially when we had family visiting. One of my favorite places was the amusement park at Lake Quassapaug , or Quassy for short. They had the COOLEST carousel 🎠 there! It didn't only have horses, it also had a menagerie of other animals like tigers, zebras, camels, giraffes and goats. But my absolute FAVORITE was the one I used to call the sea dragon 🐉. I have since learned that it was actually a hippocampus, but whatever you call it, I felt like the coolest kid in the whole world when I got to ride that!

July 24th- Robotics 🤖
Today's painting is another trip back in time, though not quite as far as yesterday's 😂 For the robotic theme, I thought of one that my kids had when they were younger...a Meowchi robotic cat! I think we had a Meowchi, a Poochi, and a few Furby too! They were fun to take care of, until they decided to malfunction....one of them had to be shoved into the bread drawer to stop it from talking and reacting...quite frightening and hilarious at the same time! 😹😹😹

More Disney inspired painting tonight...this one from a little bit further back. As a matter of fact, this guy is even older than I am. Meet Prince John, the wannabe ruler, from the Robin Hood movie. He'll never quite measure up to his big brother the king! 😉

My allergies have my eyes itching today, so I decided to paint my arm instead. Painted a kawaii/chibi version of the beautiful and talented Princess Tiana from Disney's "Princess and the Frog"! I just love her gorgeous waterlily inspired gown! 💚

I worked a fun event on behalf of Magical Memories Entertainment today! It was a little slow for face painting since it was hot and there was a pool there, but the kids I did paint were awesome! This young one wanted a butterfly with pink, and let me add the teal and yellow to match his outfit. And isn't that the best smile ever!?! 😁🩷

My niece suggested painting a frog the other day when I "asked my friends" on what to paint. Here's a cute little poison dart frog inspired by Pashur House 's level up drawing session last year. I definitely think this would be great for a frog loving party guest! 💙

Painted a cute and quick little library kitty, as if it was a request at a party. 😊 The cat and the books were speedy with the help of one strokes. What do you think this furry friend might be reading....? 🤔

July 18th- Ask your Friends!
I asked my awesome friends for suggestions and got a bunch of good ones, from dragons and frogs, to flamingos and peaches! 😊 I decided to go with one a little bit out of the ordinary, a platypus! I have painted Perry once before, but this little guy is *slightly* more realistic, swimming happily with some fishy friends. ❤️

My internet has been wonky the last few days due to some storm damage in the area the other night. (We are all fine!) I wasn't able to upload my themed designs, so will add them now.
Here's my World Snake Day design (with roses) from Tuesday, loosely inspired by the awesome Frida Haas ! I need a bit more practice (and to look at a reference) to get it the way I want it, but overall I do like it. 😊 It makes me giggle though...the belly is huge compared to that tiny head! He must have had a big lunch 😂

July 15th- I ❤️ Horses Day
Had some busy-ish day, but wanted to try out a cute version of a horse today! If I try it again, I might change a few things but it's still pretty adorable ☺️
Here in Sussex County, NJ I am lucky to be able to see so many beautiful horses in the area. 💕
