Callie Carr Events Creative Event Planning Callie is a Accredited Wedding Planner from Penn Foster College, Georgia State Manager of the Association of Bridal Consultants.

She holds an Associates Degree in Human Services from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from Troy University. Callie Carr Events was founded by myself in 2012 (branded as Sister Secrets Wedding & Event Planning) in an effort to fulfill a passion of making beautiful creations and events. The name represents my love and creativity

for planning weddings with the inspiration and anticipation of my two sisters and one brother getting married one day. The word "Sisters" does not only apply to blood relatives but to the bond of fellow friends and family who share their secrets and dreams about that special day or special occasion. My job is to make that happen! From Ceremony and/or Reception Decor, Linen, Floral, Photography, etc. A wedding planner can be an asset to anyone who is getting married or planning an event. Many services are offered by myself and the other services not provided can be provided through associated vendors. Any event, any budget can be handled with class and elegance.

I am so excited to announce the release of the E-Book and Kindle download of my most recent endeavor. I am a co-author along with 9 other amazing females in the book titled... The Ultimate Wedding Guide: Expert Tips and Secrets for Your Dream Wedding. Produced by She Rises Studios. The paperback version is set to release on January 30th 2025 and available on Amazon.

You will find me in Chapter 8, titled "Hire A High Energy Hype Queen: The Wedding Planning Process Explained". It was so exciting to go into detail on the broad range of duties a Wedding Planner possesses when they are hired for your Wedding Day!! Some times it is hard to put into words everything we do!!

The most amazing added touch is the rooftop where you will find a soaking tub, mini kitchen with refridgerator for your drinks and you can view the stars from your very own telescope 👏 When you finish swimming in the pool or beach you can choose your swim up or private pool back at your room.

Submissions are being accepted now for our annual Southern Bride magazine contest!

Any bride who got married in 2023 and is a Houston County, Peach County, Macon County or Dooly County resident is eligible to enter.

Please submit your favorite bridal photo from your wedding day (It can be of the bride only or both you and your partner.)

Please include in your submission the following:
Full name (both you and your partner)
Address
Wedding date
Wedding location & venue
Photographer’s name
Jeweler’s name
Contact information (phone number and email)

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: January 31, 2024, at 5 p.m. Submissions received after 5 p.m. on January 31 will not be eligible. No exceptions!

We will post the submissions to our page on February 1 at 9 a.m. for voting and select the winner and runner-up based on the highest number of likes received from the public.

The winner and runner-up will be announced after the contest closure on February 9 at 3 p.m. The winner and runner-up must be available for an interview with our writing staff between February 9 and February 16.

The winner will be featured on the front cover of the magazine and will receive a feature inside. The runner-up will also be featured in the beautiful, full-color 2024 Southern Bride magazine.
