Food for thought: We're starting to make plans for 2025. We will be looking for some new faces at the BBQ hut, the catering kitchen and onsite catering. If interested, send a message. We expect the restaurant will be open for the year in late March or April 1. Catering is normally on Saturdays and would be an "as-needed" basis and "if available." We like to have a pool of solid people to draw from.

People have been asking when the BBQ hut is opening this season. Due to the weather, that remains to be seen. In the past, we've gone with March 1. But last year, we pushed back to mid-March. This year, since we are actually having a winter, Dean says he can't see the restaurant opening before April 1. The original building owners didn't build it to withstand winter snow or temp. Last year, when we opened in Mid-march, it went down into the teens the next week and stayed cold for the rest of the month. As a result, we did an awful lot of standing around. That being said, Dean says he's getting bored. As a result, we are thinking about doing some pop-ups out of our commercial catering kitchen on the West End of Warren. The menu selection would probably be based on whatever we are hungry for that week, but it would probably lean heavily on Mexican (our personal fave). Other theme possibilities would be Cajun, noodle bowls and maybe a homemade soup, homemade bread and gourmet sandwiches. It would be pickup only (or possibly Door Dash delivery).
