Wishing the biggest Congratulations to Margaret & Cory! 🤎🍂
This was the most stunning day nearing autumn to celebrate two wonderful people. These two saw each other for the first time on a mountain top, shared tender vows alone in a forest, and celebrated laughing all night with their loved ones. It was a dream and we couldn't be happier for the two of you to start your marriage off so beautifully. We feel so lucky to have met you, and to capture this incredible time in your lives. HI FRIENDS, I’m Jenna! A Wedding, Elopement, and Portrait Photographer based in Appalachia. My home base is Warren County, PA. Regularly serving Northwestern PA through Upstate NY & but I love traveling for shoots anywhere. 😊🤎🍂

There’s a bunch of new friends here so I wanted to drop in and say hello 😊 and give a little intro on who is behind this feed.

🌲 Outdoorsy. I’m a big cabin, mountain, pine tree, plant, earth roaming, camping, roadtripping, season loving type of lady! 🥾

🤎 I married my roller rink first love almost 10 years ago (on Halloween 🥹). Cody’s my absolute best friend & we spend every minute of the day laughing together. He’s the best support & second shooter you’ll meet for shoots 🥰.

🐾 I am a full blown obsessed dog mom. We have pits Bruce, Chewy, and now Mozzie. And a spicy little chiweenie named Ponchovia. They have 100 nicknames & they are our cuddly kids, no personal space period. 😂

🧺 I LOVE home design in all forms, even mocking up houses from scratch. Decorating.. thrifting.. baking.. my favorites. I plan on giving my fair go in this life with homesteading & using some of what I went to school for originally (animal sciences & farming) 👩🏼‍🌾

📸 I have decided to never specialize in a specific type of photography because I don’t do what I love to make money, I do what I love because I LOVE it. 😂😊 I love eloping with a couple & adventuring a new place, seeing people celebrate chapters of their lives, capturing couples becoming parents & seeing their kids growing with their love. I also love consulting on rental property design & providing marketing packages. I’ve always been creative & passionate.. and feel so blessed to be able to fill my cup in so many ways, with so many types of clients.🫶🏼

🍂 Fall through Winter are my favorite seasons. I love sweaters & cozy everything. My hair is always a disheveled mess but people give the sweetest compliments so I’m grateful on that 😂. I have way too many small joys & hobbies but my life is never boring. There is so much to look forward to & I’m happy to be here, living a day at a time 😌!

Florals .. here’s the tea 🫖

You should splurge on the IDEA of the bouquet. If there’s one moment for the florals your entire day that can be so special.. it’s the arrangement you carry.

Don’t get me wrong.. I love a drenched head to toe floral out the wazzoo wedding day but if you’re looking to keep a smaller budget but still have the lux look go for your bouquet.

TIPS TO REMEMBER 😉

🌿 plan for your wedding date time of year: this is huge on what will be available, do some research & pin research to see what’s typical for your weddings season

💐 try local first! you would be surprised what some flower farmers in your small town are packing as far as vogue worthy florals! local flower shops also have access to ordering so many things even if it doesn’t grow in your local area

🌼 diy ladies these are two of the best secrets: flower moxie delivers everywhere and we’ve seen clients have great experiences with them. And lastly .. Costco, Trader Joe’s, and some Sam’s Clubs TAKE ORDERS and you can pick them up in person and prep them with your favorite people at home 🥰 tip: ribbon & bouquets diy videos will pull you through this beautiful mess 😌

Faux vs real? .. is it worth it?

Yes .. there is something personally so tender and beautiful about real florals that is just unmatched coming from someone who sees florals every weekend. And now there are so many incredible ways to diy or professionally preserve your real florals *in frames of all kinds, wall art, resin, jewelry, etc*. BUT you can mix in or focus on faux florals in table arrangements and hanging decorations and still grab the real thing for bouquets or baskets 😃…

Over all I’m ranting and truly seen stunning arrangements both faux and real. Whatever you have the eye, love, and budget for.. do that. It’s really all that matters is that the pieces work for YOU. Happy flowering! ☺️🤎

This year we have had a lot of things happen in our personal life. A lot of wonderful things.. and a lot of really sad things. I’ve hopped offline A LOT to truly take it in and try to enjoy the day to day & I just wanted to share a little bit of an update of what is happening.

We have had to face some serious family health issues and re-directed/pause some of our previous plans to move in to take care of someone close to us. We just want to acknowledge our incredible clients who have known what is going on that have been there for us deeply, just as family would. We cannot thank you with enough words, you have added so much light to our life.

We are so filled with joy and purpose in our work with all of you. We cherish the value of capturing special memories because we know.. you can never get them back. And we feel honored to be apart of your story, whatever chapter you may be in.

We are still working as usual and appreciate any patience in between communications when it is needed since we have SO *so* many amazing inquiries & clients always coming onto our books. We currently have a few days worth of inquiries to finish getting back to and you have no idea how wonderful that feels. 🫶🏼

And if you made it this far, we just want to share that any family going through terminal illness with a loved one, wanting to cherish the fleeting moments with your sweet pet, or any other similar circumstances will always have a deeply discounted session with us. Experiencing these two things ourselves and opening up to others in the same situation we have realized we have an opportunity to capture something irreplaceable and want to share that as widely as possible. We know all too well one of the only regrets is not enjoying every moment sooner & taking more photos *so that’s what we are doing now*.

We are still fully booking sessions of all kinds, micro weddings & elopements, limited dates for travel, and full wedding experiences! And working on a lot of really amazing things that will be announced in the near future 😊. If you would love to work with us please reach out to us as soon as possible to get on our schedule. Thank you for giving us the most beautiful career. Life is life-ing always.. but we are living, inspired, and enjoying. *smiling through it because that’s our default, just happy to be here. And thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, I haven’t been able to get back you all yet but it meant the world!*

Let's wish the biggest congratulations to Ashley and Michael! 🤎🥲

Getting together with you two was like witnessing two people that were made for one another. The playful, light, and loving energy that you share is so contagious and precious. Every part of your day from your reception speeches, to exploring with us, to the tears we shed at the end of your firework show - this day was just a dream. You both deserve nothing but an abundance of love and happiness, and we couldn't possibly be more grateful to have celebrated this chapter with you. Here are a *few* previews from one of the most beautiful days!

We photographed our first wedding with Barn at Farrington Hollow a few years ago when they were just getting it up and running. From then to now this family has been so close to our hearts, and more so with every encounter. This is one of the most beautiful family owned properties and quickly went from a venue we were excited to visit for the first time - to one of our preferred vendors and groups of people we could not recommend more highly.

The biggest wedding regret we hear over & over chatting with people is …

↟ I wish I would have done things the way I wanted, not how people wanted me to. This we hear especially often from people who wished they had eloped with their closest friends & family members. We are pro having a hugeeee wedding, pro micro weddings & pro elopements.. simply we vote you doing what feels right for 𝗬𝗢𝗨. This is a time to celebrate.. don’t be afraid to pour yourselves into being different. Dogs aren’t just dogs.. and pictures aren’t just pictures 🥹🤎🐾

Today we are sitting home loving our 4 fur babies. Ellie belly has been having a bad few days *she’s our diabetic baby* .. and I can’t help but be emotional. Our dogs are basically our lives.. and we have had the best memories meeting so many of our clients fur babies.

There is nothing like the unconditional love & joy from the days spent with them. The time is too short. The memories are so sweet. They carry us through the journey of our life in a way that is so precious and beautiful.

I guess the moral of the story is.. we know how important these memories are whether they are captured or not.. but looking back on them is pure joy 🥹. Don’t hesitate to include your pets of any kind, your favorite weird sweater, your kids covered in paint. We couldn’t judge a thing. We get it and these memories are priceless. We are here to savor them with you, and for you in the future. Here’s a moment to reminisce on the perfect day with two special humans, their family cabin, and sweetest pup. 📸🥰

Celebrating love & nature.. it’s how we do it 🌿

PS: here’s a small perspective example why you want us as a team for your day. A LOT more variety in your photos & compositions *and a larger quantity of high end photos since there’s two of us getting creative*.

Capturing close ups, landscapes, intimate details, all of the shots is something super important to us. You picked your day, your location, your details with so much love and attention.. they should be a physical sentiment you can look back on for your lifetime. We’ve got you covered.. multiple angles, all of the emotions & memories. 🥰
