Let’s talk YouTube homesteaders—who are your favorites and why?

We’ve all got that one channel (or five) we binge when we’re dreaming up a new garden layout, building a coop, or just need someone else to validate our obsession with compost.

Whether it’s the peaceful cabin-building types, the chaotic-but-charming backyard gardeners, or the full-scale farm families documenting life with goats, we want to know:

Who do you watch and what keeps you coming back?

Is it the knowledge they share?

The vibes?

The way they remind you you’re not the only one herding chickens in your pajamas at 6 AM?

Drop your go-to YouTubers in the comments—we’re always looking for good content and new friends to follow. Bonus points if they’re Missouri-based!

Mark your calendars—the Windsor Community Auction at the Willis Miller Farm is back in 2025 with four auction dates lined up:
📅 May 31 | Sept. 27 | Oct. 25
🕤 All auctions start at 9:30 AM
📍 11845 Brandon Rd., Windsor, MO

This long-running local event has been serving the small farm community since 2010 with poultry, rabbits, small animals, and all kinds of farm-related consignments (no household items).

✔ Consignments accepted Thursday & Friday before each auction
✔ No swine or ponies; no critters in cardboard boxes
✔ Healthy animals only
✔ Lunch, baked goods, jams, and jellies available
✔ Cash, check, or credit accepted

As they say—"It's where kids & critters meet!"
