After seven beautiful Decembers in my Warrenton studio, this Christmas will be my last here before I step into the next big dream for House of Amsel. This space has truly seen it all — tears of joy, newborn naps, kids running wild, laughter, milestones, and so many stories shared within these walls. It’s been my safe place, my creative home, and the dream that started it all.

To everyone who helped me build this — who cheered me on through the hardest moments, who showed up with flowers and kind words when I didn’t even know what was next — thank you. 💛 To every family who trusted me to capture their newborns, their growing children, their love and laughter — thank you. To those who helped me decorate for Christmas, steamed backdrops, or just came to hang out with wine and pizza — thank you.

This studio has been my home for so long, and I’m endlessly grateful to have shared it with so many of you. Together, we created not just beautiful photos, but memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

This space has taught me how to dream even bigger, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next for House of Amsel. 💫 This isn’t goodbye — it’s a very thankful “see you later.” The next five years are going to be full of incredible things, and I can’t wait to grow alongside all of you.

The Library of Congress is truly straight out of a dream ✨ This elopement was nothing short of magical—I loved every second of documenting such a beautiful love story in such an iconic space. It’s quickly becoming a favorite destination for couples, and I can only imagine how stunning it will be here in the colder months! ❄️📚💍

I’ve had the joy of photographing this sweet family every three months for almost two years now. Watching these boys grow has been such a blessing, and I’m so grateful to be a part of their story. 💛

The weekend celebrating the Ryman wedding was nothing short of magical ✨ From the perfect spring weather to the most stunning cake, every detail came together beautifully. Mattea’s walk down the aisle was made unforgettable by the full-grown flower men absolutely owning it 🌸—and the joy continued straight into a night filled with dancing, laughter, and love surrounded by family and friends.

It was such a special evening, and I could not have done it without the incredible vendor team who poured their hearts into making the day flawless. Grateful beyond words to have been part of such a beautiful beginning for Mattea & her new husband 💕
