We are still perusing through photos from all of the amazing events we were a part of last week and our crew is out hustling with take downs from each site, meanwhile we have photos from an intimate dinner amongst friends before a local homecoming dance and we just love how these blue floral linens shine with our gold chiaviri chairs ✨

Team meeting in the office this morning to lay out scheduling of set ups, planning take downs, and running inventory counts for each event!⁣

Our busiest months yet are September and October. Two hours of planning later and one month is finished, so off to the next!⁣
⁣

Katie and Nick’s wedding was a beautiful one!! The weather leading up to this wedding progressively got worse as the date approached, but we had them covered! (literally and figuratively) ⁣
⁣
This wedding featured our legacy tent in a 40x135 which was large enough to host their guests for the ceremony and reception to keep everyone dry! ⁣
⁣
We added the clear ends, a clear span on the roof, and windowed side wall to allow additional natural light even despite the clouds and rain! This event also included staging for the band, our wooden dance floor, chairs, tables, and linens!⁣

The cooler air today reminds us that festival season is right around the corner! ⁣

Everyone knows that we offer tent and wedding rentals, but did you know we are also equipped to handle large scale festivals as well?! ⁣
⁣
A few of our favorites over the years have included Stratford Hall’s Wine Festival, the Urbana Oyster Festival, Irvington Crab Festival, Warsawfest, Christmastown, Kilmarnock Christmas festival, the Virginia State Fair, Brews and Barbecue, and so many more!

100% chance of rain the next few days as the tropical storm blows in and the perfect opportunity to talk about our tents against the weather!! ⁣

So what happens if your wedding or event is firmly planned for a specific date and then the weather is less than ideal? ⁣
⁣
Ok let’s talk about it!! ⁣
⁣
We offer an add on of sidewall for tents if the weather isn’t favorable. This creates an enclosed space within the tent to protect your guests from the elements. ⁣
⁣
We offer multiple sidewall styles, but our best recommendation is a side wall that comes with clear span “windows” that will make the space feel more open with a view to outdoors and additional natural light. This gives the space less of an enclosed feeling and more comfortable! ⁣
⁣
We understand that some events are rain or shine, and thats why we are fully prepared to assist in making your event space pleasant, no matter the weather.

Jella and William’s late October wedding was a great one and we are so happy to share it with yall! ⁣
⁣
This wedding was a unique one with set up and so fun to be creative with! It featured our legacy tent and two connector tents leading to an additional tent that housed the food tables. ⁣
⁣
In the center of all four tents was an open space that featured a four sided bar. The ease and flow of movement for guests was perfect! ⁣
⁣
We also included staging for the band, clear tops and ends on the tent for extra natural light, sidewall on the tent to protect guests from the chilly wind that day, wooden dance floor, guest tables, food tables, cocktail tables, chairs, linens, string lights, bars. ⁣

We love how the entire event came together and are honored to have been a part of this wedding! Congratulations to Jella and William!

So grateful to be a part of Sarah and Justin’s waterfront wedding in Urbana!!⁣
⁣
A quick summary is that this wedding included our legacy tent to the host their entire reception, a clear roof panel and clear gable ends to allow additional light, side wall to protect everyone from the rain, wood dance floor to get the party going, stage for the band, tables, tablecloths, string lights to set the ambiance after dark, and chairs for the ceremony and reception. We even handled obtaining the tent permit that is required for large events! ⁣
