Milk update. We are out of white milk half gallons. Making more tomorrow. For eggnog we only have pints left. We’ll be switching to white chocolate peppermint milk this week. Eggnog will be back closer to the holidays.

👋 Hello!
I’m Megan Burley, owner of Burley Berries & Blooms.

A boutique fruit & flower farm growing specialty cut + heirloom flowers and fruit using sustainable, natural practices in the hills of Wyoming County, NY. We create lush, seasonally-inspired floral designs in our artfully designed signature style that are perfect for any wedding, special event or celebration of life. We also offer a 10 week fruit and flower CSA Share and value added products with fruit and flowers from our fields. My husband is a member owner in his families dairy. Everyday Ryan heads to his families dairy to keep the family farm alive. We thought it just made sense to bring the two (farms) together given the complementary nature of fruit and milk. So this year we opened our micro-creamery called The Creamery @ Burley Berries & Blooms.

In our micro- creamery we can produce 90 gallons of milk at a time. Most of our milk is sold as whole creamline white and chocolate milk but we also specialize in different seasonal flavors including: Maple, Raspberry, Brown Sugar Cinnamon and coming soon Holiday ‘Nog which is our take on Eggnog! We’ve learned a lot about producing milk and are now in 25 stores across WNY!

Our farm is in its 9th season and we can’t wait to see what the future holds! Here’s some fun facts about me!

🐄 At the dairy I have a very small herd of Blue Ayrshire cows that I just love and every year when they get their names they also get an M to mark that they are part of my herd!

🛍️One of my favorite things to do is go to stores and explore how they sell things. Every store has a different atmosphere and I love to see what they do. When I attended Penn State I took a marketing class that focused on Wegmans. A lot can be learned from folks who know what they are doing!

🏡I grew up in a small town called Brookville which is in western PA very close to where Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog lives! Yes we had to learn how to spell Punxsutawney for our elementary spelling tests!

Materials needed:
A clear glass
Marshmallow fluff
Sharpie
Burley Berries Creamline Milk

Dob some fluff on the side of your cup. Draw eyes and a mouth on the outside. Pour your milk. Enjoy!!
