The 'Topik' of the night was love for the wedding of Ross and Angela at ! A passing storm wasn't going to damper the occasion one bit, as the guests danced between the raindrops and celebrated this union. We even tracked down a vintage aviator phone humidor for the career pilot groom, and also got back some of the best photos to date! Congratulations to the Topik's! 💨🥂🤍

It was a beautiful night in Newport at to celebrate the marriage of and . We had an excited and engaged crowd of cigar enthusiasts gathered around the 'Match Sticks' station in between the never-ending string of jams from , capped off by a sky full of bubbles to send off the newlyweds.

We had a loaded cigar selection in hand for the evening including and HE from /, by **rs, the from **rs, by **rs, the 'Big Baller Box' of for the father of the bride and his aficionado friends, and finally the from the Series by **rsinternational to reflect on Scott's professional hockey career. The elegance on display this evening will be difficult to duplicate! Congratulations to the happy couple!

A busy wedding season is approaching fast, and as much as I love bringing the wonderful world of ci**rs to special occasions all over New England, it can take a lot of time away from family. Weddings, parties, expos... all on weekends that would otherwise be spent at dance competitions, date nights, or just a movie on the couch. My wife and daughter are amazingly patient and understanding as I pack up my gear almost every weekend and head out for the night as I try to build my business into something bigger. So in the off-season, I try to repay each of them a little for their sacrifices with a dinner or two, whatever they want, wherever they want...just us, phones away, no distractions.

Tonight was my daughter Graces night, and we went to in Cranston RI for a fantastic meal. She's 15 and we are running out of things in common, but she's the absolute best and I'm so proud to be her Dad. I know it's just dinner, but I love our special nights.

Taking a moment for something new...

I wanted to recognize one of my favorite cigar accessories I own, and certainly the best cutter I have used. The SV Cut. This workhorse is solid, consistent and convenient. The ability to have the two most popular cut options in one unit saves me so much room in my cigar bag, and the fact that its backed by a 2-year warranty is all I need to make it an EDC. Not only do I own 3 of these so I can avoid the 'I forgot it in the other room' hassle, but I have talked easily a dozen people into buying one of these fantastic cutters.

It was our first time at Belle Mer, a beautiful Longwood Venues + Destinations venue in Newport RI, and fortunately it would not be our last. Gabriella and Scott has a wedding that defined 'lavish'. Between the champagne tower, gorgeous outfit changes and the best sunset we saw all summer, there was no place you could look that didn't add to the occasion.

We had a record-setting SIX cigar selections on hand, including Warped Cloud Hopper, My Father Ci**rs Le Bijou 1922, Rose of Sharon from Southern Draw, Leather Rose & HE Norteño by Drew Estate Ci**rs : The Rebirth of Ci**rs, and a perfect connection to Scott's athletic career, the Salute 30 from Bellhopci**rs.com and NHL HOFer Martin Brodeur!

I can't imagine a couple adjusting to adversity with more poise than Emma & Steven. The week of their wedding, the venue had a major fire and had to find other accommodations for over a dozen weddings. They pivoted to Hillside Country Club and you would have thought the wedding had been booked there from day 1. The staff, the venue coordinators and even the guests seemed totally unaffected by the change. These newlyweds deserve credit for rolling with the punches and pulling off a beautiful evening.

It was a beautiful evening at The Villa in Bridgewater MA to celebrate a wedding 💒 We had some excellent cigar selections on hand, including Leather Rose and the Herrera Esteli Norteño from , the Melanio V, and a cigar making its first **rs appearance, 'New Beginnings' from . Last month we were invited to be a part of the new Mr. & Mrs. Bagley's beautiful wedding at Quidnessett Country Club. Their guests may have been the most engaged cigar crowd we have experienced to date! Lots of enthusiasm around the cigar experience, excellent conversation over the varieties we had on hand, and an overall fantastic experience. Topped off with the custom cigar bands created specifically with the newlyweds love of the Red Sox in mind, this was an unforgettable evening for everyone involved. 💨💨💨
