Warwick Country Club, established in 1924, is Rhode Island's premier, private, full service waterfront country club. Located on picturesque Narragansett Bay, this historic club offers unparalleled views of the west passage, East Greenwich Bay and both the Jamestown and Newport Bridges. The Club features an 18 hole Donald Ross designed golf course, golf practice areas, two clay tennis courts, three
hard surface tennis courts, platform tennis court, olympic size swimming pool, beach area and formal dining room for its members and their guests. Members, guests and the public can also plan private events such as wedding receptions, wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and all other corporate social events in the newly renovated Banquet Facility overlooking the bay. The club offers junior programs in tennis, golf, and sailing, as well as a swim team program. Just a short drive from Providence, Warwick Country club is your great escape from everyday life.

After about a decade in hiatus, Warwick Country Club Tennis brought back its annual Ladies Member Guests Tournament!
This past weekend we had a positive turnout as Ladies Tennis players
and their guests came out for a friendly tournament. Ruthie Furman and guest Rachel Furman were a difficult duo to beat, and ultimately took first place as they handed the trophy over to Loren Stabile and her partner Kris Maggiacomo.

Golfers often aim for a hole in one on par-3 holes, which are shorter holes where the distance from the tee to the green is relatively short compared to par-4 and par-5 holes. However, hole-in-one shots can occur on any type of hole.

Grab a seat overlooking Narragansett Bay, watch the Regatta, and enjoy a crab cocktail with your favorite glass of wine.
A lightly oaked Chardonnay can be a fantastic choice. Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with crab due to its citrusy flavors and herbaceous characteristics. Pinto Grigio with flavors of apple, pear and lemon can be an excellent choice.
Remember, personal preferences play a significant role in wine pairings. It's always a good idea to experiment and discover which wine styles you enjoy most with crab and other local seafood.
