Couture Bridal Co. was brought to life by one bride planning her own wedding! Not loving the same accessories or wedding related needs in other local stores I sent myself on a an information journey. The internet had just started picking up (showing age, yes) and I searched and searched domestically and internationally for new and different designers with unique products. I traveled to many trade shows and started an online boutique in 2004.
The page took off and with a background in hotel management, sales and events the decision was made to open a storefront with accessories and consulting services. In 2005 Couture Bridal Co’s first location was opening in Coventry, RI.
The store and services took off chair covers and linens were added and so we wedding gowns upon demand! We outgrew our space and moved to Main Street East Greenwich in 2010. Bringing in extra staff and booking more weddings we were overwhelmed with happy couples and bridal parties for maids and dresses for mom as well as Prom.
As all good things come to an end our landlord decided to sell our space forcing us to find a new location in 2014. We found our amazing current location which offers a parking lot (something we didn’t have in EG) and allows us to offer our brides private experience appointments. We love the personal touch of only having one bride in gowns at time.
