ππ°ββοΈπ€΅ββοΈ WEDDING DAY TIPS π€΅ββοΈπ°ββοΈπ
Still not over this beautiful elopement for E+A a week ago! Wanted to share a couple wedding day tips:
- Donβt sweat the small stuff. I know itβs hard, but try not to worry about anyone or anything on the day itself. Your wedding day goes by so fast and it's all going to be a blur, it isn't worth spending the energy on something you're likely not going to give a second thought to after. Focusing on your love and what the day is about is very important! Also hiring a kickass planner or day of coordinator really helps with this π!
- Hydrate! If you're anything like me, thinking about drinking water throughout the day is not first of mind but with your wedding day starting bright and early (likely with bottomless mimosas) it's important to have water throughout the day and pace yourself to be able to enjoy the full evening.
- Have a designated friend record important speeches. Even if you've hired a videographer, during the reception, enlist a friend or family member (not in the wedding) to capture all of those beautiful moments you will want to look back on. Remembering every little joke or heartfelt moment quite honestly isn't going to happen so it's nice to have those to look back on while waiting for your video or photos.
- Keep all of your wedding items in labeled boxes. It's so nice when I come into a wedding where all of the decor is in labeled boxes by table! Makes setup so much easier for your day of coordinator or decorator. This also applies to items you'll want to have detail shots of with your photographer. It's important to have it all in one place so you don't forget to give them something you want captured!
I have so many more tips to give but I hope this helps think through some items for your big day! If you need a day of coordinator or planner to take items off your plate and make sure your wedding day sails through smoothly, please reach out in the contact link
