Every day, I’m reminded that motherhood is the most beautiful, humbling, rewarding, precious and joyful journey. I’m constantly in awe of God’s goodness when I look at my son, and even on the hardest days I am grateful to not only be his safe place but also learn so much from him!

In honor of Astewaye & Harold celebrating their anniversary today, were featuring this cool boho-inspired backdrop we collaborated with brightly ever after that featured Ethiopian woven baskets which are called “mesobs”, traditional textile called “tilet” and a rich velvet green fabric to tie in their wedding color palette.

They absolutely loved how this turned out and we were glad we brought the vision of adding thoughtful touches of culture to the table without sacrificing picture perfect design moments. ⁠⠀

Grateful for the warm hospitality, inspiring connections, and a glimpse of timeless charm at this stunning D.C. venue.

It was a pleasure to meet and hear more about the restoration of D.C.’s third oldest building from Owners and John Cecchi! Congratulations on this monumental reopening of such an historic gem for weddings and events!

In My Mocha Mami Era 🤎

Flower Hoopla was such a beautiful and enriching experience that me that reminded me of how much I love browns & neutrals!

Mocha-toned florals are such a stunning and underrated palette—so warm, rich, and versatile. I enjoyed learning about the variety, flower color dying process, pricing & how to educate clients on all the options to choose from!
