Hey lovelies! 🖤🤍

It's been a (very) long time since I've shown my face around here. It's the start of a new month, so I wanted to check-in, say hey and thank you to to everyone who continues to follow and my new followers. I told myself that I'd post more in 2023, so here I am posting for the first time this year in month 3 🫠 Something is better than nothing, right?!

A few random facts about me:
1. I'm a summer baby, so I'm looking forward to warmer days ahead.
2. Gold or Silver hoop earrings are staples in my every day wardrobe.
3. I've lived in DC for over 10 years, but I'm a Jersey girl at heart.
4. Chai Tea Lattes are my fave morning drink!

Loving how simple and clean this flat lay turned out from my styled shoot with Nadine Nasby! Every detail was perfect to me, but if I had to choose my favorite it would be the outline of Patterson Mansion on the inside of the envelope. Christine was so thoughtful for including that tiny detail!

I’m Talema (tah-lee-muh for those that are curious 😂), owner and lead planner of Noir Blanc Events 👋🏼. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve shown my face around here. Someone recently told me I need to get in front of the camera more often. I prefer to stay behind the scenes, but I’m working on it! It’s nice to see some new followers. Thanks ya’ll!

Anywho, I can’t believe it’s the last day of August and summer is (almost) over. Sending nothing but positive vibes out to all of the wedding professionals as the fall wedding season commences! You got this!

Shoutout to my mama for always being a helping hand. She was a wedding guest at my first wedding this season, but she showed up two hours early to help setup and serve as an extra pair of hands. Love you .rice ❤️

Let's talk about RSVPs! Do you prefer paper or electronic RSVPs?

Being a super organized person in this technology age, I prefer electronic, but each option has its pros and cons. You may even decide you want to use both options!

PAPER
Pros:
🔳 Ensure guests without email addresses receive invitations
🔳 Give you the opportunity to create a full invitation suite for your special day!

Cons:
🔲 Can get lost in the mail
🔲 Sometimes guests don't return them

ELECTRONIC
Pros:
🔳 Keep responses organized
🔳 Saves time and makes recording responses and meal choices more efficient

Cons:
🔲 All of your guests may not have email addresses
