Had fun watching the Commanders vs Ravens game at Walters Sports Bar in the Navy Yard with tha fellas for my 40th birthday! Although it woulda been nice if we woulda won, it was nice connecting with some fam I hadn’t seen in awhile. ! !

BIRTHDAY REFLECTIONS

It’s a blessing to reach the age of 40, especially as a Black man in this society. I’m just happy to be here. Me and pray to God every morning together and thank God that He woke us up that day. Nothing is promised. I thank God for the gift of her in my life everyday 🙏🏿❤️

I have had many struggles in my life. I don’t need to list them all here. We all know struggles. We all know pain. Suffering is universal to the human condition. I can’t help but reflect on my mom’s passing in 2003 and how proud she would be to see how far I’ve come. I know my dad, my sister, my brothers, my extended family and friends and the new family I’m joining are proud of me.

Overall life is good. God is good. People are good. Things are good. And I had a perfect birthday dinner with last night. All praise and glory go to God. 🙏🏿

Reporting live from the J-O-B, I turned 40 today. Everyone who knows me, knows I’m a hard worker, but I like to have fun too. Balancing out my DJ career with a government job has been the spice of life 🤌🏿

A lot has transpired since my last birthday: I’ve been planning a wedding. I moved into a house with my fiancée. I’m working for a new company. I started school again. I had a DJ residency and more. God has been great.

I remember when I used to ride around in my old beat up ‘04 Honda Pilot looking for skirts and a party to DJ 😂 Now I’m a grown man and I’ve completely settled down looking to start a family. Times change. Go figure. I’m not struggling anymore. I know mom in Heaven is proud. 😇 All praise and glory go to God 🙏🏿
