On this particular morning my motorcycle didn't start. I don't believe in or way too expensive for my liking. And at 6:30 in the morning wasn't nobody gonna come pick up my candy ass so the bus it was. Turns out, I just didn't have the wires tight around the battery in my motorcycle but the ride made for good captures. Ride safe!

2 years later, funny how the Universe works. I randomly decided to use the computer to check on my photography profile and ended up on my old one instead, "Jakiera's Eye Photography."

Going through my images, "wow." 1, because I can literally see my life flash through my captures. 2, because many times I was in awe of my OWN work. 3, because I'm making a difference in the world even if the world doesn't verbally validate that.

This love and hate relationship that I have with photography. The longest, most toxic relationship I've had! 23 years and counting and this was the longest breakup thus far, the past 2 years. And, returning "home" feels refreshing. Free therapy! We're back.
