Argus Events is a full service event management, meeting and conference planning firm. Founded in 1995, Argus International Inc. Argus is easy to work with.

We are a consulting firm focused on assisting clients in the development and promotion of their messages and missions through special events, meetings, conferences, and marketing campaigns. Our first client, Hispanic Designers, Inc., asked us to manage and produce an annual Fashion Show Gala, declare

d by Washingtonian Magazine as one of The Top Ten Social Events in Washington, D.C. Through our work with founding Board Members Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, and other legendary designers; embassies; Office of the First Lady; and our creative team; the event showcased Latino artistry and elegance while raising scholarships for gifted design students. Our solid reputation grew through word of mouth and led us to work on international health conferences, Presidential Inaugural Galas, university symposiums, military events, political conventions, and non-profit galas and special projects. On the corporate side, we launched the Sunday Morning news shows for Telemundo (Enfoque) and Univision (Al Punto), considered the Spanish language Meet the Press. We have served as event producer in multiple cities on behalf of National Foundation for Women Legislators (9 years); and National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (8 years). Since 2004 we have managed the Equal Justice Award for the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C.. We respect clients’ valuable resources of time and money to promote a product, policy, or program and we focus on blending a “Call to Action” into our events through material design, scripting, speaker selection, etc. Each event provides an opportunity to tell a story – your story. This week Argus Events had the pleasure of working with new client, Fight Colorectal Cancer, as they gathered for their National Mall installation, dinner, fun, and virtual lobbying day. They are a mighty group who remind us of the importance of fighting this deadly disease.

Our Creative Director built the retail sign for them as a low cost but high impact way to draw attendees to their retail store.

Argus Events is proud to have served as the event planning and production team for the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute's 17th Annual Gala. Virtual and broadcast events are challenging so we worked hard to mimic an "in person" event with cocktail and appetizer segments, live networking and Post-Gala Socializing. Best of all our Celebration Boxes included cocktails, sweet and savory snacks, and a cigar!

Our team was proud to produce a two-day virtual event for the Rural Child Hunger Summit. Their speakers from across the United States addressed this serious topic that has been especially impacted by the pandemic. Racial injustice ties in directly to this issue and we are glad their organization is on the front lines of change. Congratulations to their team and ours for an amazing two days, in english and spanish.
