What are the #CafritzYoungArtists' opera "hear me outs?" Nicholas Huff, Johnathan Patton, and Tongyao Li share their hot takes! Catch them in WNO productions this season. 🎭🔥
Sinead Campbell Wallace stars in WNO's new production of Beethoven's sole opera: "Fidelio," at the Kennedy Center Oct. 25-Nov. 4.
This monumental production tells the story of Leonore, who disguises herself as a male guard in order to save her husband, Florestan, who was unjustly incarcerated for his political beliefs. If Beethoven's “Ode to Joy” declares the universal triumph of peace over war, then his "Fidelio" is an inspiring ode to love’s transcendent power over tyranny.💞
