March 13th marks 16 years since Principal + Creative Director Rachael Glaws filed for RGI events' business license with not much more than a borrowed laptop and the passion to implement her hard-won success in the LA special events and entertainment field into the D.C. market.

A few moments from our company retreat in Mexico! Every year, we trade in our desks and offices for a well-deserved dose of vitamin sea in the beachside town of Tulum.

During this week-long escape, we brainstorm, set goals, deep-dive into strategy, meditate, salute the sun on our yoga mats, and leave reinvigorated. 🧘

While we patiently wait for spring to arrive, we're reminiscing on this warm, sunny day where RGI took charge in transforming this community activation event with our long-standing client, KIMCO Realty. After lots of research and polling, we pitched and planned an art walk that brought the town’s burgeoning creative community together, and went from a hundred attendees and eight tables to thousands of attendees and dozens of tables!

What an incredible journey the last 15 years have been at . In the span of these 15 years, we have planned and executed thousands of programs drawing in hundreds of thousands of attendees for some of the world’s most respected business innovators, thought leaders, and change makers.

Tucked behind the facade of a locksmith and shoe repair shop in NYC is a buzzy, speakeasy-style bar — the perfect playground for a product launch party! Dreamed up by RGI, it had all the makings of an unforgettable event:

✔️ An always-flowing champagne tower.
✔️ Glimmering disco ball decor.
✔️ And of course, plenty of themed bites to go around.

Unexpected spaces often make for the best event venues. Take, for example, Union Station – a sprawling historic transportation hub and event venue in the heart of D.C. The ornate, neoclassical details and domed ceilings wowed everyone on the guestlist!

Over the years, RGI events has hosted galas in airplane hangars, conferences in art galleries, and formal dinners of a cliffside – always in pursuit of creating a “wow” moment at every turn.
