How does the old saying go “give people their roses while they can smell them”? Well, forget a rose, forget a bouquet, Mrs. Debra deserves the whole damn rose garden!!! 💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹💐🌹

Mrs. Debra has been the heart of since 2017. I met Mrs. D at a transitional phase in my life. She was a student at the (sister school to ) where I was an instructor. From the moment she introduced herself in a very sweet, yet fiery way, I knew there was something about her! She let the whole class know that she was retired, taking the mixology course for fun and there wasn’t a chance in hell she was going to remember hundreds of drinks 😂🤣! It was at that moment I knew she was my kind of lady!!!

At the time we met, I was in the process of attempting to operate full-time…for the THIRD time! I guess “three times a charm” because once Mrs. D joined the team, Mixin’ Mimi was going strong; I haven’t looked back since!!

Mrs. D has work many events but she mostly works on the admin side of the business. Don’t let that sweet face fool you because she has some spice! 😂😂😂 There’s no such thing as slacking on her watch…she keep me in line, in check and on task! She reminds me a little of Miss Minnie from that show episode about the feisty new maid (Martin lovers will get the reference lol).

Since 2017, Mrs. Debra has become a really good friend of mine outside of business. We talk almost everyday about everything!!! I tell her all the time that she’s a god send but I don’t think she truly knows how much she is. I am so thankful for her help, loyalty, friendship and beautiful spirit!

Thank you for being you, Mrs. D! You have had a major influence in my growth as a business owner and a woman and I am so thankful for our connection! 🖤💖✨

A wise person once said “there is no ‘I’ in team”. Our team is what makes our service special! All of our event stars ✨ are friendly, professional, creative and so much more!

: I absolutely appreciate all of the feedback and positive reviews we receive from clients, friends and family. My team is SO awesome. As much as I would love to personally be at every event we book, it’s not possible. My team makes sure that everything runs smooth and the quality of service exceeds expectations. They even calm me when I’m frazzled and have saved the day on more than one occasion 😂😂 We sing, we dance, we laugh…and I enjoy every moment, at every event with this amazing group of people.

In the food and beverage industry, employee/staff retention is difficult to manage and maintain. Team members come and go for various reasons. In fact, I urge all of our team to stay educated and look for opportunities in which they can grow and excel - and many have! 🙌🏾

With that said, it’s such a warming feeling that core of our team has been with us for YEARS! I am not perfect…not even close lol. But I try my best to be good, honest and encouraging to anyone who works with us. I aim to be supportive and helpful in our members’ individuals journeys. The growth of Mixin’ Mimi Mixology is largely due, in part, to the team! They are the rockstars!!!
