We're taking a look at a few unexpected things to expect during the wedding journey.
What drives me is Intention, that is where my Joy lives and thrives. Seeing other people smile because I created something thoughtful, interesting and worth experiencing. Watching eyes light up and smiles shine. That is my 'Why'.
When I was invited to design and plan the gala of the year for The Knot Worldwide it was an immediate said yes. Of course I was excited to join an elite group of only 10 other planners and designers to have this honor, but more than that, I was excited to unearth almost twenty years of stored ideas, nods, memories and dreams. To see how they would come to life with one of the most amazing teams of creatives you could ask for.
The layers of 'intention' and 'why' run deep for this one, but let's just say, the minute Dorothy stepped into the technicolor world of Oz my young imagination was never the same and would lay (the brick) road for my future and wind its way into the name of my company and one of the greatest events I've ever produced.
I pulled the themes of Courage, Heart/Love and Knowledge and paired them with the Resilience and Perseverance every person in that room would have had to endure to be there. That is certainly something worth celebrating! I also learned to honor Time differently over the last several years and we certainly had to wait to get here. "All In Good Time" seemed so fitting and thus the theme was born.

I think it also recognizes that we are a part of something great. A community of exceptional professionals and people who wake up, show up and do the damn thing every day. We are grateful to be a part of this list. We know our clients, vendor partners and peers have choices (a lot of them). How thankful to be on the short list of excellence.
I’d also be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that this years honor hits a little differently than in the past. Last year was hard. Really hard. We know we are fully capable of persevering in the face of a good challenge but I can also attest that our team earned every bit of this honor. And so did everyone on this list. In every category.
