When you’re asked to travel to the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana for an elopement, it only takes .0001 seconds to say, “I’M IN!”

Christian and Dena’s ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean. The sky was painted with warm hues as the evening went on, and I recall feeling so relaxed and inspired.

We spent a few days before their wedding sharing dinners and laughter, creating memories that made the trip well worth every second spent there.

A summer destination elopement at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic spent with family and friends on the beach.

🌿 Need ideas for your spring/summer wedding?! This cocktail hour featured a unique seating chart written on massive leaves, an oyster bar, and a groovy live band who were friends of the couple! Their guests wore bold colors and patterns to add an extra pop, too! All around, this wedding was STUNNING. More to come soon (just wait to see how they decorated their ceremony and reception)!! ✨

There’s something about the first photo that inspires my heart. The affection between them feels soft, yet strong. I think what’s incredible about two individuals coming together is that each holds an element of strength and tenderness, and many times, they show it in completely different ways. To me, that photo conveys it beautifully (notice the little details in their body language).

All in all, I find it so special that I not only get to observe, but also to photograph that raw beauty. ❣️
