The Las Vegas Sphere has set a new standard for live events with its groundbreaking architecture and technology. From the 167,000 speakers delivering personalized sound through Beam Forming technology to the 580,000-square-foot LED exterior that displays 1 billion colors, every detail of the Sphere is designed to amaze. Inside, visuals are captured using "The Big Sky," an 18K custom-built camera, creating an immersive experience like no other.

Recently, the Sphere introduced a new activation, a stunning interactive visual display that redefines audience engagement. This cutting-edge feature invites attendees to interact directly with the venue’s design, making the Sphere a dynamic part of the performance.

Residencies by artists like U2 have already shown how this venue transforms live shows into unforgettable experiences. The Sphere isn’t just a venue; it’s a glimpse into the future of entertainment.

As we start planning our 2025 tradeshow season and activations, we love looking back at some of our favorites! We love activating for our clients at Schwab Impact, which was just held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

This is our third build on the floor at Schwab Impact and our 13th year designing, producing, and managing our client’s trade show activations. While we were there for our client, we always loved working with the production team behind Impact - this show is well-produced and a dream to work with every year.

Decibel is proud to have produced this year’s DSCA booth at the Association of the United States Army - AUSA National
2024. Tasked with creating a booth space that is engaging and representative of the DSCA’s security cooperation goals, we built a space where representatives worldwide can meet and escape the busy trade show floor.

We value the opportunity to work with and help represent the Department of Defense each year.

This year’s Balloon Fiesta brought New Mexico’s skies to life with a mix of tradition, innovation, and cultural celebration. Verge Aero’s mesmerizing drone shows, featuring 500 synchronized drones, lit up the skies with dynamic images, including crowd favorites like red and green chiles and representations of Albuquerque’s distinct wind patterns.

The festival’s expanded Main Street entertainment lineup brought local culture to the forefront, with performances from New Mexican bands, Zuni dancers, and mariachi groups that celebrated Albuquerque’s rich heritage.

One standout addition was the “Globitos”—miniature, remote-controlled balloons sponsored by the City of Las Vegas—which allowed attendees to interact with balloon replicas in spaces where traditional hot air balloons couldn’t go. Thoughtful event management coordinated daily activities from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., balancing crowd flow, enhancing visitor engagement, and creating dedicated areas for food, cultural displays, and entertainment.

On November 28th, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will once again light up the streets of New York with a spectacular lineup.

This year, fans can expect 17 giant character balloons—including new favorites like Minnie Mouse and Gabby’s Dollhouse—22 incredible floats, and 15 heritage and novelty balloons. Over 700 clowns will bring the fun, joined by musical performances from stars like Dan + Shay, Idina Menzel, and T-Pain.

Broadway’s finest will take the stage with casts from “Death Becomes Her” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” plus the legendary Radio City Rockettes. Broadcast live on NBC and streaming on Peacock, this iconic parade promises unmatched designs, unforgettable performances, and holiday cheer for all.

Congrats to the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts on an amazing 2024 Wolf Trap Ball! This year’s ball was the most successful in their history, and raised nearly $2.2 million for Wolf Trap Foundation’s arts and education programs.

Kudos to the amazing and talented production crew at Wolf Trap, as well as EventEQ and their design & production team who brought the theme to life.

Decibel Events is proud to have been part of this amazing event! Our team was brought in to provide a producer to show call the gala and we certainly cannot wait for the next one!

Working in Washington D.C. means that we get to work on incredible events like this one! This is a throwback before the renovation when the National Mall would let us stake tents into the grass! Building out this venue over 7 city blocks for events from the Capital to the Monument was an incredible experience. Many clients assume that you can no longer host events on the National Mall. Nothing is further from the truth! Events, and large-scale events are still possible, and we continue to produce them.
