Planner of Things owner, Ray Bracken, is currently the leading gay male/queer Wedding Planner in the DMV. Planner of Things' experience spans the non-profit world, previous work at Occasions Caterers and a conference/event planning firm as well as a long stint in hospitality managing 5 restaurants and all of their private bookings and events. So more than Weddings, PoT is also well versed in all other events big or small and can work with any client's needs and budget.

M+C, surrounded by friends and family, tied the knot on a day filled with love and joy and officiated by the incomparable Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Moments like this remind me just how precious the right to marry who we love truly is. Looking ahead to November, help protect love and equality and everything we have fought and are still fighting for.

I mean look at these gams. More like a spritely 25 year old with lower back pain, a newly discovered issue with dairy and an unexplainable aversion to miniature crab cakes and balloon arches. Amirite? Anyone else? No? Just me? 🤷🏻🤔😅

Lastly happy belated Planner of Things. That guy turned 2️⃣a month ago and is still hanging around. Ok. Noted. I see you - Bring on what’s next! 🎉🙌🏻🍾

Even though I didn’t know it yet, the very foundation of .of.things was and is built on those words - grace, humor and perfection. It defines me as a person, event planner and how I approach every situation as best as I can.

Thank you C+C for entrusting a young event planner all those years ago with your big day. I look back on it often and smile every time - and not just because there were unicorns involved! 🦄
