4th of July is right around the corner and it’s time to get the grilled fired up! Did you know that according to the National Fire Protection Association, fires caused by outdoor grills and barbecues in the US average about 8,700? Follow along with some of our tips below to ensure a safe and fun holiday weekend! 1. Place your grill at least 10 ft from your house. Make sure it is not under trees, near lawns decorations, or anything that can catch fire 2. Don't turn on the gas while the grill is closed- always keep the lid open. 3. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and make sure you know how to use it. 4 Clean your grill regularly to ensure there isn’t a grease buildup. 5. Make sure you read the cooking instructions before you throw something on the grill!
