Friendship and Fellowship are two necessities that I enjoy in life. Ya’ll I sat and listened to say that she wasn’t planning to do anything major for her birthday.

Culture and tradition are two elements that I like to lean into when designing events. For this es**rt wall display, I collaborated with to fabricate a custom Chinese inspired armoire.

The red “Double Happiness” favor boxes inside the armoire doubled as es**rt cards and favors for the guests. The “Double Happiness symbol is a Chinese traditional ornament design, commonly used as a decoration symbol of marriage.

The stunning gold leaf calligraphy provided by added the perfect, delicate touch to the boxes.

Design wise, this color palette and the use of varying sized Chinoiserie kept me energized and challenged. A masterful incorporation of Chartreuse and Persimmon for a unique Fall inspired design.
