After taking a much needed and fun vacation in Nashville, I was bak in action last night as I DJ'd my first regular season Romeo High School football tailgate in 7 years as the Bulldogs took on the Highlanders of Rochester Adams. I got everybody ready to see Madonna's high school take on Kid Rock's high school by putting on another fantastic performance with a great mix of fun music to pump them up to. Not as many activities were offered like at the scrimmage but it was still fun to DJ a tailgate again and see a RHS football game proper for the first time in years as well. It was a heartbreaking overtime loss 22-21 after Romeo came back from 0-14 after the first half. I expect a lot more festivities going down at the tailgate for the next game which is the Watchdog game against Ike on Friday the 13th of September. But before then, I return to Washington Elementary to DJ their back to school event next Friday September 6th.

I had a great weekend of gigs this past weekend starting at the Romeo High School red and white scrimmage, which I DJ'd for the 3rd year in a row, held at Barnabo Field. It rained before the show and thank God it cleared up right before I left the house to setup and it turned out to be a wonderful evening event and weather wise as I delivered another dynamite performance with everyone enjoying my music and played a great mix of pop, country, and kids stuff. Not as much dancing like last year but it was still a great event and great way to get Romeo ready for football season. Then it was on to a 40th birthday party, my 2nd one I DJ'd this Summer, for a gentleman named Justin. Unlike Friday's show, I did deal with weather as it rained right as we were setting up but thankfully with a canopy already setup for us and with it only raining for 30 mins and never came back, it turned out to be a great way to end my run of Summer shows as I delivered yet another terrific performance with everyone in attendance having a ball of my great mix of mostly rock and country with some pop tossed in. It was very karaoke heavy as you'll see from the clips below. Thanks again to RHS and Justin for having me DJ their events this weekend. I'm getting ready to go on a belated birthday trip back to Nashville for the 2nd year in a row and will return to action on 8-29 DJing my first regular season RHS football tailgate in 7 seasons against Rochester Adams during Peach Fest opening night.

I had a busy last couple days with my birthday on Friday and two gigs starting with the Lutz School completer ceremony held this past Thursday at Villa Penna. With another great crowd of 27 completers and friends and family there with them to celebrate, I helped made their celebration more special as I delivered yet another dynamite performance. Popular songs included: All line dances, Party in the USA, A Bar Song (Tipsy), Shake it off, Jump Around, among many others. Then it was on to yesterday's gig which was the Dunduro High School class of 1979 45th class reunion held at Club Venetian Banquet Center. It was the 3rd time I've DJ'd a class reunion for this class and I believe this reunion was the best as I delivered yet another spectacular performance. I've haven't had a chance to play of lot of 70's music lately as most of my parties prefer 80s and newer so it was great to play some of these songs again for the first time in a while. Popular songs included: Hokey Pokey (yes they asked for it), the Hustle, Play that funky music, dancing queen, love shack, must got lost, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Lutz school for having me for their completer and to Stan Babinski for having me DJ his class reunion again. My best grad season post COVID came to a triumphant end last night as I DJ'd my 8th and final grad party of 2024 for a young man named Ayden a Romeo grad. His mom is a friend of mine and he's seen me DJ for years especially when he was a kid at Hevel (He even still has a piece of paper I signed for him at a Hevel event). With beautiful weather and another great crowd on hand, I ended this grad season with a bang as I delivered yet another spectacular performance. Not much dancing but a lot of karaoke as you see from the clips. The first half of the show was a mix of country and pop especially for the kids in attendance. Then the teens took over the 2nd half but it was way different than most teens at grad parties. I was playing a ton of gangsta rap and nu metal that I grew up on like Limp Bizkit and Korn. It was a fun way to end this grad season. I'd like to thank Ayden and his mom Kari for having me DJ this party and hoped I made it a little more special. Speaking of Romeo, I'm happy to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, I'll be DJing the RHS red and white scrimmage again on August 16 at Barnabo. But before that, I'll be DJing Lutz School's completer ceremony this Thursday at Villa Penna.

After last week's grad party for Evan in Ray Township, I DJ'd another Romeo grad party last night for a young lady named Sophia Sunderlick. I DJ'd her sister Olivia's grad party in 21 and another party for her family in 20. With beautiful weather and a packed and wonderful crowd, I gave one of my best performances I've given all year as I was on fire with the crowd. The first half were mostly for the kids and adults but once they left, the teens came out to play and it turned into a high school dance. I played a great mix of kids music, pop, country, little rock, and especially for the teens a lot of Rap. Popular songs included: All line dances, Mr. Brightside (Played twice), First Day Out, Not Like Us (also played twice), Unwritten, Shots, Bang Bang, Starships, Last Friday Night, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Sophia and her family for having me DJ her party and hoped they and all their guests enjoyed it as well. I'm off until 8-3 for my final grad party of the summer.

After last week's surprise 40th birthday party gig, it was on to my 6th grad party of the year today as I DJ'd one for a young man named Evan held at the Belojski American Center in Ray Township. I DJ'd Evan's brother Seth's party in 2022 so was happy and honored to DJ this event today. With beautiful but scorching weather, the heat didn't let up today as I delivered yet another terrific performance with a chill mix of music for a laid back crowd. While there were a decent amont of adults and teens there, I catered a bit for the kids that were there playing Disney and other movie songs as well as fun kid songs I play at elementary schools like Chicken Dance, Hokey pokey, and Baby Shark (played twice). I did play some country, pop and even some rock for the occasion. I'd like to thank Evan's family especially his mom LeAnne for asking me to DJ another grad party for the family and to all who attended and hoped I made Evan's grad party more special. I've got another grad party set for next Saturday.

After a 2 week break, I was back in action last night as I DJ'd a surprise 40th birthday party for a man named Eric. With a great crowd in attendance, a little rain during the first hour or so didn't dampen anybody's spirits as after it dried up, the party really got going as I delivered yet another dynamite performance with my great mix of pop, rock, rap, and country delighting everyone up. Heck even some wrestling themes were requested as the birthday boy is one including Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold (Yay fellow wrestling fans!). I did only one karaoke request and only took regular song requests for the rest of the night. Popular songs included: Cupid shuffle, Clarity (played twice), Any ed Sheeran, Piano Man, Truck Bed, Yeah, Uptown Funk, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Hollie for having me DJ her husband's surprise party and hoped he got surprised and had as much fun as I did DJing it and to Natalie, Hollie's sister, for hosting it at her house. I'm DJing another grad party this Saturday.

After DJing a grad party for Joey on Friday, I DJ'd another one yesterday this time for a young lady named Gabby held at her house. Ironically both grads I DJd for this week went to Chip Valley schools with Joey graduating from Dakota and Gabby graduated from Chip Valley. Even with the rain making small cameos throughout the night, it didn't dampen anybody's spirits as I delivered yet another splendid performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music I provided. Karaoke was a hit early in the party, got some adults and kids dancing together for a bit, and ended the night with all the moms getting down to old school rap and rock. Popular songs included: I Wanna Dance with somebody, the Way You Move, Baby got Back, Pour some Sugar on me, The Humpty Dance, Get Low, Killing in the name of, Thunderkiss 65, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Christine for having me DJ her daughter's grad party and hoped I made it a little more special for her with my music. I'm on break until July 6.

Following last Saturday's grad party for Bobby Albert, it was on to the first of my 2 grad parties this weekend as yesterday I DJ'd one for a young man named Joey Scaglione held at Italian American Cultural Society Center. I've done many grad parties for his family for the last 15 years and they've all been excellent parties and this one was absolutely no exception. With a very amazing crowd on hand, I helped Joey celebrate his transition out of high school in high fashion as I delivered yet another phenomenal performance. Popular songs (So many BTW) included: I Gotta Feeling, Party in the USA, any Pitbull, Perfect, Billie Jean, We Are Family, Low, OMG, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Joey and his family for having me DJ his grad party and I hoped it made it just a little bit more special and from seeing everyone applauding me after the show I think I might've done so. I'm now resting up before my next grad party this evening.

After last weeks triple header weekend, I only had one gig this weekend and that was yesterday as I djd danny Albert's grad party held at todd Walker's house. With beautiful weather and another great crowd on hand, I delivered yet another terrific performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music, the nice weather, activities on hand like co****le and inflatables, and food from The Happy Patty food truck (sliders and tots were delicious btw). Songs and artists played at the show: any gnr, any taylor swift, any eminem, radio ga ga, any van halen, encanto songs, among many others. Thanks again to todd and family for having me for Danny's grad party and I hope I made his grad party more special with my mix of music and good luck to him as he goes to the university of Michigan in the fall (GO BLUE!). I hope all the fathers have a great fathers day today especially mine who I appreciated his 14 years of being my roadie before my brother took over in 19 following my dads retirement due to health reasons. I got 2 more grad parties on Friday and Saturday.

Hello again everyone. The atak is here with another update for you. My summer gig season is off to a great start following great school gigs and grad parties over the last few weeks. I'm ready for another great gig weekend but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, my appearance at ava diciccos grad party this friday has been cancelled. I've done many gigs for this family as I've known them for years and sad that I'm no longer djing this party. I still wish ava the best in her graduation and was looking forward to djing her party. My other grad party for Saturday is on.

Following my last minute gig on Friday for the Kosals, I did a double header yesterday which meant 2 gigs in a day starting with a 5 year old birthday party for a youngster named Noah held at the VFW hall in Romeo. With great weather and a great crowd on hand, I helped celebrate Noah's birthday in big top style (his party was circus themed) as I delighted everyone there with another terrific performance. There was so many activities there like a petting farm, pony rides, and face painter. I played a great mix of fun family music with the line dances working as usual alongside songs from movies like moana, sing, enchants, lorax, among others. I'd like to thank Keith and family for having me dj his sons party and hope I made his day a little more special. Then it was on to my 2nd gig of the day for a young lady named Riley held at her house where I used to dj parties a decade ago. In between gigs, the weather drastically changed as it downpoured when I started playing. But after the rain let up, the energy shifted as I delivered another dynamite performance with the teens taking over karaoking and dancing all night with the adults enjoying it too. Popular songs included: all line dances, any taylor swift, any sexxy red, rich baby daddy, the spins, baby got back, living on a prayer, this is how we do it, among many MANY others. Thanks to Riley and her family for having me dj this event and returning to their house for the first time in many years (and won't be the last) and hoped I made her celebration of graduation a little more special and epic. Now it's on to 2 more grad parties on Friday and Satruday for two long time customers and friends Tracey Dicicco (thanks to her twin sister and former teacher of mine Jeanne) and Todd Walker respectively.

After ending the school year at ham par on Monday, I got called for a last minute gig today as I djd a pool party at Troy Kosals house back there after Saturday for his children and friends that go to ham par celebrating the last day of school. With windy but still great weather and a fun crowd of kids happy it's summer vacation, I helped them ring in their Summer by delivering yet another splendid performance with everyone splashing and dancing in and out of the pool. I'd like to thank the kosal family for having me again for the 2nd time in a week and to all the kids who were there and wish them a good summer and see them in the fall. After 9 months of djing many field days, fun runs, and other school events, I just djd my final gig of this school year today which was my 2nd field day of the season for Hamilton-Parsons Elementary. With gorgeous weather and a great and excitable group of students, I made their fun run more special and ended the school year with a bang as I delivered yet another spectacular performance with everyone enjoying all the fun that was had. I'd like to not only thank everyone at ham par for their never ending support and having me dj their field day for the first time, but also thank everyone school I djd for this year in all the districts I do: anchor bay, northville, almont, misd, Fraser, chip valley, Utica, and of course my home district Romeo. I hope all of the schools have a great summer and see you in the fall. Well I get a well deserved few days off following 5 gigs in 6 days and rest before a double header this Saturday which consists of a 5 year old birthday party followed by my 2nd grad party of the year.

My busy week of gigs came to an end yesterday as I djd my first grad party of the year for a young lady and romeo grad Lily Kosal daughter of Troy Kosal for Washington Twp Supervisor who I djd a campaign party for in April. With beautiful weather and a laid back but great crowd, I kicked off grad party season in high style as I delivered yet another splendid performance with fun had by all. I played a great mix of music like country, a bit of disco, 80s and 90s pop, newer hits, and a lot of kid music that made me feel like I was back at Amanda moore and all the other school gigs I djd this week. I'd like to thank Troy and Linda for having me dj their daughters party and to Lily for letting me add my music to her special occasion. In fact some of the kids that attended this grad party will be seeing me again tomorrow as I'll be djing their field day at Hamilton Parsons which is not only my 2nd and final field day of the year but my final gig of the school year.

After yesterday's spring fling gig for Washington Elementary, I djd my first field day of the year today for Amanda Moore Elementary School which was also my first field day for them ever and first field day for a Romeo school. With another beautiful day outside and a wonderful set of kids alongside teachers and volunteers, I electrified everyone in attendance and pumped them up as I delivered yet another terrific performance with everyone having a blast. After djing the 5th grade picnic for great oaks yesterday, I returned to my home Elementary school Washington Elementary today to dj their spring fling event for the 3rd year in a row and my last event for them until the fall. With beautiful weather which was not as hot as last year (I'll take 70 and sunny and not 90 and humid) and another great crowd on hand, I bid Washington adieu for the school year as I delivered yet another splendid performance with everyone enjoying my music and the great activites going on at the event. Shoutout to Mark Luedtke for being there with the balloon art as usual and to Kona Ice of Utica for serving up ice cold treats that were appropriate for the day. Now it's on to my 1st field day of the season today and its also my first one for a romeo school after mostly doing them in other districts and it's for Amanda moore.

With windy but great weather and a terrific crowd, I helped the 5th graders celebrate the end of their grade school days in high fashion as I delivered yet another terrific performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music which was newer music for the kids and mixed in some oldies for the moms in attendance. After djing the picnic for cooke school last Friday, I djd a sweet sixteen party last night for a girl named Hannah. With beautiful weather, a great house and fun backyard, and a wonderful crowd in attendance, I helped hannah celebrate her special day in style as I delivered yet another spectacular performance with everyone dancing and enjoying my mix of music mostly for hannah and her friends. After djing at fern hill this past Wednesday for another AIO meeting, I returned to Cooke School in Northville this morning as I djd their picnic for the 3rd year in a row. With another great crowd and weather holding out once again (seems like the rain fights us every year but happy to say rain 0 cooke school 3), I electrified everyone there by delivering yet another spectacular performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music today. After my fun special needs dance last Saturday at st john Neumann church in Canton, I returned to Fern Hill Golf Club tonight for the first time since December to dj my first meeting for the Americans of Italian origin since October. With a great crowd to welcome me back to their meetings, I delighted them all as I delivered yet another splendid performance as I played a great mix of Italian favorites and dance classics. No karaoke singers tonight as usual just dancing. Loco-motion (the original by little eva), sweet caroline, marvin Gaye (the song), ain't no mountain high enough, and perfect were songs that went down well at this show. I'd like to thank Larry and all at the AIO for having me dj another meeting for you guys. Hope everyone had a good time and I'll be seeing you guys again in the fall. Til then, I'm going back up to northville this Friday to dj a special needs dance at cooke school for the third year in a row. Pray that the weather holds out for you guys again!

Hello again everyone! The Atak here with another update for you. Took a couple days off FB for Mother's Day weekend (hope all the moms out there had a great one especially mine. Love ya Mom!) but now I'm back online to talk about my first gig in 2 weeks I did this past Saturday for a special needs dance held at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church in Canton, my first show there since January. With a terrific crowd in attendance, I DJ'd my best dance there yet as I delivered a truly phenomenal performance for all who attended. It was a truly eclectic setlist as you'll see in a bit and the entire crowd ate it up. Popular songs included: All line dances, Footloose, Any slow (You'll be In My Heart and How Deep is your love to be specific), Hanging by a moment, Cake by the Ocean, Who let the dogs out, Do wa Diddy, Party in the USA (an Atak standard at this point like Sweet Caroline and Don't Stop Believin' both I didn't play this time there), Billie Jean, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank all at St. John's for having me again and to everyone who attended you were absolutely awesome. Speaking of returning to places and events I haven't played in a few months, I'm returning to Fern Hill for the first time since December to DJ my first meeting for the Americans of Italian Origins since October this Wednesday.

After my terrific best buddies dance yesterday at dakota high school, I returned to Tina's Country House & Gardens for the 2nd time this week tonight this time to dj my first wedding of 2024 for a couple named Tiffany and Nathan Kowalski. With a great crowd in attendance to celebrate their special day, I made it even more special as I delivered yet another splendid performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music. Popular songs included: all line dances, my wish, what's up, this is how we do it, any backstreet boys, any country, among many others. I'd like to thank nathan and tiffany for having me be a part of your special day and I hoped I made it more special for you and your guests. Thanks also to all the staff at tinas for their hospitality at both my gigs I did there this week. I'm now officially on a two week break that will end on may 11 when I return to st john numann for the first time since January to dj another special needs dance.

Following my daddy daughter dance for great oaks at Tina's country house, I made my debut at Dakota High School this morning as I djd a special buddies dance aka: special needs dance with high and middle school volunteers. With a highly enthusiastic crowd in attendance, I started my busy weekend right as I delivered yet another dynamite performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music. Popular songs included: all line dances, any taylor swift, party in the USA, we're all in this together, baby, let it go, low, among many others. I'd like to thank Dakota and the special buddies group for having me and to those who attended. I hoped they had as much fun as I did doing it. I smell the start of a beautiful business relationship but now it's on to my wedding tomorrow as I make my 2nd appearance in a week at Tina's country house.

After my glow dance this past Friday at Dreseen Elementary, I made the first of my 2 trips this week to Tina's Country House & Gardens today and djd the great oaks daddy daughter dance for the 2nd year in a row part of Anchor Bay School District. With another packed house full of happy dads and daughters, I think this one topped last year's event as I delivered yet another dynamite performance with everyone in attendance having a ball. I'd like to thank great oaks pto for having me again for this event, Tina's for their hospitality and for hosting this event, and to all who attended. Like I mentioned, I'm playing at Tina's again this Saturday for a wedding but first I play for the very first time ar dakota high school this Friday morning for my first dance at a chip valley school in over a decade.

After djing a gig at Glen Peters school last Friday, I made my debut at Dresden Elementary School last night as I djd their glow dance. With a wonderfully packed house, I made a great first impression at dresden as I delivered yet another spectacular performance with fun had by all who attended. I'd like to thank the pto and everyone at Dresden for having me and hoped the crowd there had as much fun as I did djing this fine event. From the sounds of it, I'll likely to return to dresden for future events down the line and start a beautiful business relationship. But till then, I'll be djing another event for an atak regular school great oaks and thatll be their daddy daughter dance at Tina's for the 2nd year in a row tomorrow.

After djing a solar eclipse party this last monday, I returned to Parents & Friends of Glen H. Peters School and djd their spring fling dance for the 2nd year in a row. With another packed and excitable crowd in attendance, I electrified them all as I delivered yet another splendid performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music. I'd like to thank everyone at glen Peters for having me again for this event and to all who attended. I hope that everyone had as much fun as I did djing it and I believe that is so. I'm now preparing to make my debut at Dresden Elementary School next friday for their glow dance. Glad to be djing at yet another Utica school and cannot wait.

I was back in action yesterday following my Easter break as I was djing an eclipse party at Big Red Orchard supporting Troy Kosal for Washington Twp Supervisor. With this being his first event of his campaign run, I helped make it a special one as I delivered yet another dynamite performance with fun had by all. It was a laid back event and I provided the perfect soundtrack for it playing a great mix of country, 80s, 90s, and kids songs with taylor swift getting requested a bit. Not a lot of dancing but people enjoyed my music very much. I want to thank big red for being a great host venue (great job updating the place new owners are terrific) and to troy kosal for having me dj his first (of many) campaign events. I'm doing another event for him on june 1st for a pool party at his house and working on more gigs as we go along. Im also happy to announce that I'm returning to Washington Elementary on Thursday may 30 for their spring fling event. Til then, I return to Glenn Peters school this friday for their spring dance.
