Recently, we received a heartfelt message from Ann Andreoli Clark, who shared the beautiful story behind this 1940s-era fountain. Ann’s grandparents, Dominic and Rosa Andreoli, members of the formerly named St. Agnes Chapel and Convent, built the fountain as a symbol of gratitude to God for the safe return of their son, Geno Andreoli, a World War II Army Sergeant and tank driver. 🇺🇸✨

This fountain stands as a timeless reminder of faith, family, and gratitude. We’re honored to share this cherished piece of history with all of you. ❤️

As a gesture of love and community, Mizpah Manor & Chapel is offering free use of our chapel for any couple impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western NC, where either the bride, groom or a parent paying for the wedding lost their home , and their wedding venue is no longer available. This offer extends to weddings of up to 50 guests, and we’re offering this usage through the end of this year, based on chapel availability.

We hope that in the midst of hardship, we can provide a small piece of comfort and help make your special day possible. 💖

Additionally, Penney Doughtie Photography has agreed to be your photographer free of charge if your original photographer can't make the trip! We do encourage supporting available Western NC venues first if possible!

✨ A Glimpse into Timeless Love ✨

We are honored to share these treasured moments from the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Leo A. Santowasso, who exchanged vows in our beloved chapel on August 31, 1957. ❤️ Emily Francis and Leo’s love story began in little Washington, where Emily lived on E 14th Street. These beautiful memories were shared with us by their family, and we're grateful to help keep this history alive.
