A friendship turned into romance.

Kara and Danny had the most beautiful fall wedding last month. They were surrounded by close friends and family. Many of their friendships have been mutual and lasted for years! It's evident that these two value what's really important.

I have really enjoyed working with Kara and Danny on a whole new level. They are incredibly funny but most importantly, they are compassionate and understanding towards others. These traits will serve them so well in marriage.

I owe the biggest thanks to Laurence for stepping in for me to film the wedding day. He's so easy to work with and specializes in many areas.

I also want to thank Mike for the recommendation and equipment usage.

2025 will be my last year of filming weddings.

It’s been a wild ride since 2014, when I filmed my first wedding for a friend, and since 2017 when I became a business.

Every year was filled with improvement after improvement. I remember reaching a point where I finally considered myself a professional. And to be honest, it feels pretty great to say I made it.

If I wanted to, I’m sure I could continue on this path and reach more clients to help make their wedding dreams come true.

But the truth is, I miss my weekends, I miss my family, I miss my brain having down time, I miss being able to put more into other projects, I miss being more present.

I know once I stop filming, I’ll miss the couples, I’ll miss the vendors, I’ll miss the wedding food, and I’ll miss that moment in editing when it all comes together perfectly.

This year it hit me, I accomplished my goal and I became who I wanted to be as a videographer. Now my goals have shifted. My priorities are more on my family and myself.

I’ll keep my pages around awhile for past and present clients. I will miss this. Thank you for trusting me with your weddings.

From their wedding day, I've had birthday parties, traveling out of state, doctor appointments, travel illness, and volunteering. I kind of can't believe how much has happened in the past week and a half! One thing is for sure, we are full force into the fall season.

Kloe and JC were the most precious couple. They've basically grown up together. From Kloe's friends all befriending JC to him making a scrappbook about how he can't live without Kloe, their love is unmatchable. I could easily tell the comfort everyone had because the truth is, they've already been family for quite a while.

I never would have guessed that doing my business banking would lead to filming a wedding.

In talking with a teller, I learned that there were recent discussions of a bride seeking a wedding videographer.

In comes Kenna and Jacob.

I was open to one more wedding for 2024 and they were seeking a videographer who felt right.

Kenna and Jacob had the most beautiful day and I am so thankful our paths crossed. I don't even need to tell you how amazing and supportive everyone was because you can definitely see it in their video. I absolutely love seeing the genuine smiles of those around them.

One month until Jacqueline and Jake get married!

At Hannah and LJ's wedding in 2022, Jacqueline told me she wanted me to film her wedding. It was still early in the day. The ceremony hadn't taken place yet and she hadn't seen a single shot of my film.

At the time, I just thought it was a sweet thing to say and had no expectations of hearing about it again. Then a year went by and I got her inquiry. I thought, "no way".

I'm so stinkin excited to see them again because this wedding was the best and they come from incredible friends and family.

As a small business owner, this means the world.

I can't wait for your day and !!!

Demi and Isaac had the most perfect November 11th wedding. It started with a parade in downtown Peoria for Veteran's Day! How many brides can say they saw a parade from their bridal suite?!
