THE HALL FAMILY

10 months of a precious curly haired baby girl! I met this family exactly one year ago for the maternity session of my dreams, followed by a beautiful winter newborn session. Fast forward to today, and little Robin is living the life! In the countryside with her mama + dada, her pup Butter, and her 2 ponies! What a beautiful life it really is. She is so precious. I had the best time photographing Sage and Luke on their property last night. The sun, the weather- everything was actual perfection!

I take pride in getting through to kids of all ages and getting them to smile. Except I made Robin cry after 1 fake sneeze. 😆 don’t worry, we were friends again by the end. 🤍

THE RICHARDSON FAMILY

It's not very often the husband contacts me for family photos, but it's proof that men are fully capable. 👏🏼 Luke reached out a few months ago and scheduled this session for his family- he happens to be best friends with my oldest brother and not only does a ton of work with him, but had a hand in building the venue and digging this lake behind him! I am so glad they got to come back, enjoy the weather, and capture some much-needed updated family photos.

Rachel and Luke's son's made me WORK tonight. They're at that age that photos are torture.... but I know how to make magic. Here's the proof. ✨

THE STRAATMANN FAMILY

Everyone stop the scroll and look at sweet little Theo!! I cannot get over his gummy smile + perfect blonde hair. I had the best time with Hannah, Ronin, and Theo at my favorite place tonight. The breeze kept us cool on this beautiful October day, the sun was giving what I needed it to, and I brushed up on the Dora the Explorer theme song... I make it a goal to know (at least) the theme songs to most popular shows, and will be as crazy as I need to be for littles to find me absolutely hilarious (or a nutcase, whatever works). 🤷🏼‍♀️

This fam is so beautiful and Theodore is the perfect mix of his mama + dad. I can't wait to share more! 🤍

THE WINISTOERFER FAMILY

I had the best evening with this sweet fam tonight! I still cannot believe the sunset God gave us this evening. It was the perfect backdrop for family portraits, and documenting Tate’s birthday month! Abbie and her family were such a treat to work with, and it’s always so special to photograph a fellow photographer! 🤍 I cannot wait to continue to work on this gallery and drool over this sunset all over again!!

THE HELLEBUSCH FAMILY

If I could shoot at harvest in Treloar every single day of my life, I would. The sunset, the colors, everything! Of course getting to hang with this fam is always the highlight, no matter the location. I cannot believe how big their babies are getting... we shot wedding photos here a few years ago and now we are back photographing (a very smiley) Auggie turning 1 next week! Alice is my tiny bestie during shoots- always helping me and attached to my hip. She just makes my heart so happy! P+ G are doing an amazing job raising these little cuties. 🤍

THE JACQUIN FAMILY

Last night was "out of the ordinary" for me.... I didn't have to chase any toddlers or sing silly songs to make this family laugh, and boy was it nice!! 😂 I mean, if they needed me to, I would have absolutely done so. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE shooting families... and that means families of all ages! But give me more families with teenagers! Hahaha

I had the BEST time with this crew last night and even gave Megan a little senior session at the end. Best of both worlds! The sunsets at Klondike NEVER disappoint and Mandy did an amazing job coordinating outfits + colors that just screamed fall. Can't wait to do this again when Joey's a senior! 😉
