It's always a fun time at grandma + grandpas! Tractor/side-by-side rides, fishing, and playing on the playground! Beyond the posed family photos, this family wanted to capture a day in the life with the fam. We had the best weather roaming the property and letting the grand babies lead the way. We even caught TWO fish! These sessions are already so fun and the best gift for parents/grandparents.

BRIAR | newborn

This session was so special today! Not only is this sweet baby boy a NICU grad, but his mama was the winner of the FOR THE MOMS Giveaway two of my best friends + I hosted this past Mother's Day. Baird Cookie Co. made these beautiful cookies and KE Rentals crafted a beautiful backdrop for our winners baby shower. I finally got to play my part and photograph baby Briar's newborn photos. We planned to do maternity photos this summer, but Briar had other plans and decided he needed to meet his mom + dad ASAP. ☀️

He is precious in every way and I am so happy I finally got to meet him! Already ready for the next FOR THE MOMS Giveaway!! 🤍

SCOTTIE | newborn

Baby sissy = smothered 24/7 by her big brother who is ✨obsessed✨ with her. I can see why- she is absolute perfection! The Heisel's invite me into their gorgeous home yesterday evening... lots of kisses and giggles and definitely some photos taken, too. 😉 Their sweet baby girl was so content for her photos, Holden cooperated so well, too! I am so happy for Haley + Cody, they make some cute kids!!

This was my first shoot post selling our home + moving, and no better way to dust off the camera than with a newborn session, MY FAVORITE! 🤍

WE ARE MOVING | delayed response time

As a lot of you know, we are in the process of building our dream home, and sold our current! This is a crazy busy (and emotional) time, as this is the home we bought as KIDS, flipped entirely, and brought our two precious babies home to. We are SO excited for the future ahead… but our house isn’t quite move-in ready yet. 😬 we will be living in a temporary space until our home is ready for us. With that being said, we are packing for a storage unit AND living out of boxes for the next month or two…

All this to say, my messages have been kind of all over the place, delayed, and potentially missed (although trying to avoid this). If you are waiting to hear from me, I appreciate double messages! Everyone has been so understanding and I appreciate it so much. Much love to you all as my Type A self navigates living out of a box with 2 toddlers, 2 dogs and a cat. Prayers welcome. 🤪

HANNAH + KEVEN | maternity

A beautiful baby GIRL loading... I had the SWEETEST reunion with the McDowell's last night!! I shot their wedding 6 years ago, and it was so great to see them again, but this time, for their maternity session! We caught up on life and so much has changed- one of my favorite parts of photography is keeping up + catching up with clients from years past. I started this business in 2017 and have had a million faces come through my lens. 🤍

I cannot wait to capture their newborn session this October! Counting down the days for Baby M to make her arrival... just in time for 👀

FINLEY | newborn

Had the best time with the Heyer family this afternoon! So good to see them again, but as a family of 4! Kirsten and Drew are the ultimate girl parents, and sweet Finley is the perfect addition. Tatum ran laps around the entire session but stopped for a few quick smiles here and there. We even got to take some photos outside- best of both worlds! 🤍 can’t wait to share the rest of this gorgeous newborn gallery.

SAMANTHA + JOE | maternity

End of July maternity session and a nice breezy 70° we couldn’t ask for anything better!! I had the best time with Samantha + Joe and this shoot is proof that all I need is a back yard and a gorgeous subject to photograph. 🤍

Samantha is absolutely glowing carrying her baby BOY and these two are absolutely beaming with joy awaiting his arrival. Yesterday was the perfect glimpse of what her fall maternity leave is going to be like 🍂

LIAM | 1 year

The best part about booking milestone sessions is I'm always going throw in family photos, too! Mackenzie, Hunter, and Liam were troopers in the thick humid heat last night- but it didn't seem to bother Liam at all! He was more interested in exploring than anything else, but he is just TOO CUTE! He is the definition of puppy dog eyes. His first birthday is this weekend, Winnie the Pooh themed, and what better way to hold on to that milestone than capturing it?!

THE STRAATMANN FAMILY | extended

Just hours before we left for Mexico, I got to hang out with this crew! We quite literally had to wrangle TEN kids who just wanted to play and eat donuts- I don’t blame them! The Straatmann residence was breathtaking. Expansive views, stunning gardens, and…. A downpour. 😆🌧️

We made the most of it and I can’t wait to wrap up this gallery… the BEST Christmas present ever!
