Have you been following the Olympics? There’s been clapping, whooping, nail biting, and tearing up at our house. Okay, most of that is coming from me, but how can you not get emotional when you get to experience so much talent and hard work in one place—even if it is through a screen??

Enjoy some photos from the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Ga (not experienced through a screen!). I was 11 years old and about to move from Georgia to Illinois. My grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins came from New York and Virginia to attend the Summer Games with my sisters, parents, and me. It made for some unforgettable memories. 🥇🌎✨

It wasn't until I moved to Pennsylvania as an adult that I learned about the Pittsburgh Cookie Table.

When attending a Pittsburgh wedding with the parents, who live out of state and had never heard of the majestic cookie tradition, my mom was APPALLED that guests were stowing away cookies of every variety. Just taking them in boxes and leaving the wedding! Rude!

Once she realized this was how it was done, she quickly joined the craze! What is your favorite cookie? I don't know the names of many of them, but I've learned that most anything dipped in chocolate is a winner!
