"Taylor and I are just getting home and back into the swing of things after our honeymoon and still trying to process all of the overwhelming, amazing feelings. I'm not sure I will ever find the words to put all of the emotions into an email or review, but to say our wedding day was everything we dreamed of is an understatement. Looking back at it all, I can't believe how lucky I am to have had such a perfect, beautiful day at FEAST. It rained for 2 days before and 2 days after, but on the 27th, there wasn't a drop. I'll never get over it.
Leading up to the day, you were all so accommodating in helping to ease my bridal anxiety and I can't thank you enough for that. I was able to visit the venue multiple times, see the different aisles before our day, and even arrive early to our bridal suite. Peter assured me the getting ready time would be plenty, and he was absolutely right. Arriving at the venue, getting ready, and setting up all went so unbelievably smoothly, especially with Ellen being there. Ellen was amazing. She was timely and graceful. She was making magic happen even when no one was looking.
I was honestly a little nervous about moving our aisle to the fountain, but all of that changed the second I saw our ceremony. Our flowers and arches paired with the fountain and set-up.. somehow, in the midst of a hurricane working up the coast, we had the most magical, fall-toned, outdoor ceremony. Standing in front of the most beautiful space with my husband, bridal party, and my dad officiating is a memory and picture I will hold in my heart forever.
All of the staff were so amazing. Taylor and I felt so cared for and looked after. Ellen, Helen, Tammy, and so many others. I have been to so many weddings where brides missed cocktail hours, drinks, and food, but Taylor and I felt so present the entire time. Coming up to the suite after the ceremony to our signature drinks and hors d'oeuvres waiting for us was the best surprise. I made a comment about how much I liked the stuffed mushrooms and within minutes, I had a plate of five more. All night long, everyone was checking in on us, always making sure we had a drink in hand and were being fed. Someone even brought a bowl of every single gelato flavor to our sweetheart table. Because of your staff, we didn't miss a second of our day. The day went so quickly, but at the same time, I felt so grounded and savored every possible moment. So much of that is because of all of you.
We had a crazy Saturday packing for our honeymoon, and my mom called us and told us to come over and eat our wedding dinner. I had no idea what she meant, and then I found out we were sent home with one of every entree to enjoy the next night, just the two of us. I cannot tell you how special it was to get to experience our wedding dinner all over again. We were also sent home with our cake topper. Our cake was SO good. We were lucky enough to have leftovers the night after, as well and I can’t wait to eat it again on our anniversary. Every little detail was so thought out and so centered on us, even behind the scenes. I am so thankful for all of it.
I am so sad that our wedding day has come and gone so quickly, but at the same time, my heart is so full looking back at it all. Looking back at our perfect day and venue in the most beautiful pictures. Thank you for the venue you created, for the staff who cared for us, for the love and kindness that was felt, and for giving us the wedding of our sweetest dreams. It will mean the world to us forever. I am so grateful we found FEAST in its final wedding year. I will never be able to thank you all enough."
