We are not the biggest Post there is. We don’t have the panoramic views that Post 163 in Friday Harbor have…or their museum. We don’t have the free rodeo seats through the picture windows at the Ellensburg Post. What we do have is a great group of members. Visitors always compliment us on our beautiful location, the deer browsing in the yard and the scenic ride up the river. The flattery most appr

eciated is when they tell us what a great group of people we‘ve managed to put together here. We’ve been praised as a “Model Legion Post” and been selected as the Fifth District Post of the Year. If you are in need of speaking with the Post Service Officer for help with your initial VA claim, death benefits or financial hardship, please call 360-837-2006 from Monday-Thursday from 0800-1800. Or leave a message at that number at any time, and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Our annual Festival of Trees starts tomorrow night! All of the businesses/ groups did a great job on their trees tonight that they decorated for the raffle! Santa’s chair is also ready for his visit on Saturday! 🎄🎅🎄

Thank you to the Washougal school district and the students who volunteered from WHS. We were able to pick up food donations from “Stuff The Bus” to help fill baskets for “The Ted Fuller Christmas Assistance Program”

Quilt raffle and weapon raffle drawing will be held on the 10th at 2p.m.! If you are still interested in buying tickets, they can be purchased at the Mercantile and at Post 122 community breakfast on the 10th!

Well over a hundred showed up to donate and participate in this year’s Jumbo’s Memorial Toy Run at the Elk’s in kelso WA today. American Legion Riders as a hole had the most participants in attendance.

Veterans Day assembly and breakfast at Cape Horn Sky on November 9th. Thank you to the Boosters fundraiser, donations will go to building food baskets that we will be putting together and delivering to those in need in December.
