Events starts at 8:00am for The Casey Jones Blues Festival. The Simmons House Historic Venue and Inn and Mississippi Eye Care Taylor will setup and host the VIP tent for the musicians.

Meet our Blues Fest artists: Mr. Sipp " The Mississippi Blues Child "

Malaco Recording Artist, Castro Coleman a-k-a Mr. Sipp, was born August 25, 1976 to Johnelle and the late Vera Coleman in the small town of McComb, MS. He began playing the guitar at the age of 6. Through hard work and perseverance, Mr. Sipp has become a Delta Blues force to be reckoned with! Being recognized for his amazing vocals, songwriting ability, musicianship, ability to produce records and entertain fans with an upbeat, outlandish show all make Mr. Sipp “The Total Package.” With over 125 recording credits to his name, Mr. Sipp has played on over 50 national recordings with several Grammy ® nominated projects. He’s a 2014 IBC Winner, Epiphone Gibson Artist, and Ernie Ball Artist. Most recently, Mr. Sipp became a Grammy award winning artist for his contribution to the album “Basie Swings The Blues”.

Finally, the time has come that we can share some amazing news with everyone! First and foremost, thank you to all of our incredible and dedicated supporters who have helped make this dream a reality. To receive this honor has been one of the most rewarding and surreal experiences. When we set out on this journey, we always knew it would be about preserving the rich history of the home first and a venue second. For us, this award speaks to that mission. With one journey complete, let the other begin! We are excited about the couples who are going to help bring life and love back into the historical beauty once more. Cheers to all the 2023 couples.
