How do you keep my kids safe on prom night?
Limos and proms go hand in hand, it's a right of passage for teenagers to go to their prom. Our goal is to make sure it's memorable and safe for them.
We have a very specific protocol when it comes to Prom transportation.
1. We keep the divider lowered at all times, so the driver can keep an eye out, and make sure everyone is safe
2. We don't allow backpacks to be carried onto the vehicle. All backpacks are kept in the luggage compartment.
3. We stick to a strict itinerary. Before the event parents and students sign off on all the stops. We don't deviate from that unless we have parental consent.

How do you train and screen your drivers
Our drivers are all thoroughly vetted and screened.This starts with the Connecticut DMV requiring all drivers complete and FBI finger print background check, and Annual or Bi Annual D.O.T. Physical.
At Gateway, we take it a step further. We conduct our own criminal background check and semi-annual violation check. These checks are not legally required, but we want to insure that we are always using the best of the best to service our clients,
Once we make the decision to hire a candidate we thoroughly train them, starting with ride along trips to the airport. Once a driver has mastered a job, we move them into more intricate roles. The highest trained driver is reserved for our Weddings and Proms, since there is so much detail that goes along with this role.

We are fully licensed by the CT D.O.T. for point to point service in Connecticut and the Department of Transportation which allows us to operate in all 50 states.
We are also fully insured. We are mandated to carry $1.5 Million in insurance, but choose to carry $5 Million in liability coverage. All of our staff are employees and are covered by our workers comp policy.
