Well we started the 2025 wedding season with thunderstorms and some pretty flowers!….

The original plan was to have a full arbor with flowers lakeside but with the storms circling and unpredictable with a 84% change of rain at 4pm (ceremony time) we modified with a simple arbor and two buckets of flowers. The bucket of flowers would then be moved to where ever the ceremony ended up.

What a view for a private intimate wedding ceremony!

I see a lot of weddings in the woods and mountains… but there is something so beautiful about Lake Champlain in late spring.

This couple choose to design in a planter so that when the wedding ceremony was thru and the cut flowers had passed they could plant annuals and re-use the container at their house. ❤️

Happy National pet day!! Bear (our dog) is the worst behaved dog I have ever raised but his smile and goofy soul makes me laugh every time. He also is very good at chasing every single wild animal out of my gardens, and occasionally eats butterflies (that’s not cool!) 🦋

Anyone in Vermont wondering if it will be the year summer never cones? While some may have choice words about the winter weather Vermont is having (I maybe one of those people) I will still hit up the ski slopes and keep reminiscing past events.

After many months this bridal bouquet was ready to be delivered and hung on the wall.

This bouquet had some very hard flowers to press. The bouquet had
Dahlias, garden roses, snapdragons, zinnas, phlox, stock, scabiosa and delphinium. The most challenging were the dahlias and the petals of the large garden rose. But I got it! and I am very thrilled with the outcome. How cool is it, that this bouquet is still present from this past August?!

The frame is from a local frame store in Waterbury, VT. We custom designed this frame to put together a country chic rustic garden like design.
