We are excited to be hosting our first Hope Flower Farm Peony Party on May 16th, 2025!!Meet designer Holly Heider Chapple, owner of Hope Flower Farm, for a guided tour of the peonies, farm, and the manor house, which will be styled with a festive peony tablescape using flowers from the farm and curated elements from Holly’s secret prop closet. Tuscarora Mill/South Street Under will provide a buffet-style lunch at noon. After lunch, enjoy a floral design demonstration presented by Holly in the main barn. Each guest will be given thirty stems of peonies to take home. While at the farm, visit the tasting room and gift shop!!

This is a note from me, . I realize many of our guests don't know our farm's story, and that's okay because we want Hope Flower Farm and Winery to be a star in her own right, but I think an explanation is in order. Hope Flower Farm was a dream and a gift from the universe to me and my late husband , earned by many years of hard work designing weddings, special events, and floral design conferences to teach others our craft. In 2020, we opened the farm to the public to provide comfort and peace to a suffering world. Previously, the farm was where we grew flowers and taught other florists. Keeping the farm open and beautiful for the public requires much labor and money. Sometimes, it feels like we are building a park for people to enjoy, but that park comes at a cost. To sustain the farm, we work tirelessly under two brands to create revenue to support the farm, and we donate to our community by providing services or spaces for charities, other small businesses, or people grieving and healing. While I would love to host significant holiday events at the farm, the real work of supporting the farm is happening and controlling what we focus on. A few days ago, our team, including the farm and winery staff, pulled together to design for the Kennedy Center Honors. For us, the adage “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” Couldn't be more accurate; we couldn't sit at the farm and hope our community would show up for holiday sales, so we had to turn our focus where we were locked in for work. This makes bringing the big visions I have for the farm hard to pull off because all of our efforts go to providing for Hope. As one of the top event designers in the industry it saddens me that we aren't doing epic holiday open houses at the farm for the holidays but it is what it is. This weekend the farm will be open all weekend and we hope to see you and share some of our holiday designs with you. We truly appreciate your support and patience as we continue to envision and dream of the big plans we have for Hope. We will have holiday centerpieces, wine and gifts available and if you want a custom wreath please let us know!!
