Thank you to the Northeastern Wisconsin Orchid Society for a wonderful day of education, community and fun!!

I personally would like to thank the entire club for welcoming us and especially Nancy, who went above and beyond to help Honey Hoot’s Orchids enjoy an amazing day!! You truly are a blessing, my dear!!

I also found the most exotic orchid I’d ever seen at this show…. I couldn’t pass him up, so I just had to take him home!!! 😆

We’ll look forward to seeing you all again soon!!

Honey Hoot’s Orchids and Rare Plants will be bringing a small selection of orchids, carnivorous plants and supplies to this weekend’s Northeastern Wisconsin Orchid Society Show at the Winnegamie Dog Club, 2043 Manitowoc Rd, Menasha, WI 54952 on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.

For all of you who purchased a Hoya Patricia from us, you should hopefully be seeing some blooms!! This is our beauty, who has rebloomed 3 times now!!

Light: mid to bright, but indirect. Currently in a west facing window with sheer curtains.

Water: weekly in growth season and 2x per week during blooming.

Scented: YES!! In the evening, sort of fresh floral.

We have just a few seats left for our Holiday propogation class tonight from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Waterford Stillhouse in Waterford, WI.

BIG, BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Honey Hoot’s is closing our brick and mortar location Saturday, October 21st…. discounts on everything for the next week!!

We will be open our regular hours through Saturday, October 21st. All our inventory will be marked down, starting with 25% off everything, and we welcome everyone to come find their favorite wishlist plants and visit for awhile.

From the very beginning, Honey Hoot’s was always about family. It’s the backbone of why we do what we do in every way, both for our family and yours.

With that in mind, my husband was offered a new career path which will require me to be more available to my boys. We will be closing our Bay View/Milwaukee location and continue to sell at remote community events, pop-ups throughout the state and online at www.honeyhoots.com with shipping and remote pick up.

Opening the shop was an amazing journey and you will see us again in the future. I want to thank EVERYONE who came out and supported us over these last 2 years and tell you all, you helped make my life’s dream come true. I cannot tell you how much you ALL mean to me. But my boys need me and when I started this shop, it was with the understanding that I was always a Mom first.

We will be canceling next week’s pop-up in Madison, but already talked to Doundrin’s about hosting classes and events there in the very near future!! We are working out the details but plan to have an old school “buy online, pick up at the mall” in the next week or so, so stay tuned for details.

The Sheboygan pop-up will continue all weekend, 11-5 daily, through Sunday and will be included in the 25% off everything!

We currently plan to still hold our upcoming class on November 11th at the shop and will reach out to all registrants of classes directly.

We will be closing the shop on Saturday, September 16th in support of 2 awesome special events throughout Wisconsin!!

We will be selling in Milwaukee at the Wisconsin Orchid Society Annual Show at “The Domes” from 9 am - 4 pm on Saturday, September 16th and 9 am - 3 pm on Sunday, September 17th!!

We will also be selling in Menasha at the Fox Valley Plant Fair benefitting J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue!! The event is located at Sabre Lanes in Menasha from 11 am - 3 pm on Saturday, September 16th!!
