Today we'd like to share something with you that is close to our hearts - Daisy's Place in Florence, Alabama. We came to know Carolyn when she started following us in our first year growing sunflowers (we are TRYING to add Daisies to our gardens!) and she has a beautiful caring Christian soul.

If you're looking for a flower to add as a low hedge, this is one we recommend for both beauty in your landscaping and as a cutting plant to bring blooms into your home. They have a long vase life, 7 days to 2 weeks, depending on how they are conditioned when cut. Plus they will provide blooms throughout most of the season, nearly to Thanksgiving, and possibly beyond the farther south you are.

Cleaning seeds today!! Just a couple thousand luffa gourd seeds we'll be packaging up for sale soon. We're also working on dahlia, sunflower, celosia, zinnias, fancy pumpkin, gomphrena, red trumpet vine and mimosa.

Planted 50 pink peony roots today!!
It'll be a couple years before they are really producing, but we should have blooms this spring! We'll post progress as they grow. In the meantime, the photos are a preview of what's eventually to come!!

It's been a few weeks since you've heard from us. We have been taking a much needed break from the craziness that led up to Thanksgiving week and our Christmas on the Farm event.

As we work towards the end of the year and look forward to 2025, we are planning workshops throughout the year and would love y'all's input! We will comment below with some ideas we have, and would LOVE everyone's vote with a 👍 or ❤️ on which ones you would be willing to come out to the farm for. If there's one you're super excited about, feel free to comment on it as well as ❤️. If you have an idea that's not listed, post a comment with your idea.

Also!! Starting in January we will begin booking the Glass House for small events, photo shoots and weddings up to 50. Contact us for more booking info.

Our very first Christmas on the Farm is in the books!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to enjoy the farm with us and our vendors. Special thanks to Smashed and DonutNV for providing the WONDERFUL food!!! Nom, nom, nom!!!
We really could NOT have pulled it off at the end there without Santa's helpers and our dear friends, Wayne and Janet Espey, who helped make the garland that decorated the front of the Glass House and gave it that special Christmas vibe, provided all the wood for our fire barrels, AND helped keep us sane!!!!! They are saints!!!

A little progress update!!! The roof was FINALLY finished last week and we'll be shooting a video update this week, but just couldn't wait to show y'all the 16x16 deck we added to the Glass House porch!!! It's AMAZING!!! It will be great for photos, outdoor workshops and maybe even eventually a stage for music!

We'll be putting some finishing touches on this week, like ELECTRICITY and LIGHTS 😂, as we approach the Nov 26th date for our Christmas on the Farm event and then decorating the Glass House for visiting with SANTA!!
