How are you dealing with the stress of the holidays?
For me things have not been going to plan between traveling, family obligations and unfortunately being sick for almost 2 weeks this year I feel so far behind. That is why self care is so important! I did a couple things for me and today I feel more refreshed and now feel like I can be in the holiday spirit and focus on what is important and to me what is important is family time. I am making a conscious decision to not stress and not feel like I need to be over the top.
So remember to focus on what is important and don’t forget to make you a priority too.

Several years ago I started the tradition of making paper placemats with five lines on it so everyone can write the five things they are thankful for and as the kids have gotten older the answers have changed from things like “I’m thankful for WiFi” and “I’m thankful for no school” to things of more substance like “I’m thankful for family”. As the years go by that is what I am most thankful for. As the number of kids at the table change from year to year in my heart I am thankful for them and my husband. Our family has grown to include our children, grandchildren, other family memebers and our chosen family aka friends. To all of my family and friends I wish you a beautiful Thanksgiving and hopefully a stress free holiday season!!

While I do love it, make no mistake it is work! This slumber party set up to make it perfect was about 2.5 hours not including initial meeting with client, sourcing materials and transporting/travel time. So when you question a professionals prices please remember you are paying for a service. My client and her daughter and friends loved the service I provided and that fills my soul. Thank you to everyone who has shown love and appreciation in support of my small business!!
