November 9, 2024 was a memorable day at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC), celebrating the unveiling of the Komitas statue!
On behalf of the ACEC Board of Trustees Executive and Management, we thank our distinguished guests, representatives of community organizations, dear community members, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the event with their presence, support, and generous donations.
We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the graceful clergy of the Armenian churches in Watertown for their presence and blessings, sculptor Dr. Megerditch Tarakdjian for donating the Komitas sculpture, Toros Vosbigian for covering its installation costs, and anoush’ella’s Raffi and Nina Festekjian for catering the reception.
We also thank MA State Representative Steve Owens, Watertown Councilor Nicole Gardner, and Kristen Kenny of the Watertown Cultural District for their attendance.
