🍁🍂 Peak Foliage Alert in the 1000 Islands & Jefferson County! 🍂🍁

Fall is in full swing, and the colors are absolutely stunning across the region this week! Here's the latest foliage update:

🔴 Jefferson County:
Peak season is here in Alexandria Bay with 95% color change, showcasing a breathtaking mix of brilliant fall colors! 🍂🌾

🟠 Oswego County:
With 65% color change, vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows are lighting up the northern part of the county, while the southern portion still holds some lush green with pops of fall color. 🍁🌳

🟡 St. Lawrence County:
At the Seaway Visitor Center in Massena, foliage is at 75%, painting the landscape with golden yellows and warm oranges, plus a few touches of red. In Ogdensburg, we’re at 90% and peak, with bright seasonal shades setting the scene. 🌾🍂

Now’s the time to get outside and soak in the beauty of autumn! 🍁 Tag your friends, grab your camera, and make plans to explore the 1000 Islands region this weekend. It won’t last long!

Week 6️⃣ of our Fall Foliage report is out now! 🍁

Beautiful peak foliage is expected in parts of 9 of the state’s 11 vacation regions. Across much of Upstate New York, leaves range from the midpoint of change to near-peak. Meanwhile, Long Island will mostly see foliage at the midpoint, while New York City remains in the early stages of its seasonal transition.
